CONTROVERSIAL HALO OPINION: I didn't care for ODST all that much compared to the other Halo games, even less than my least favorite Halo, Halo 2. I wasn't even interested enough to finish it all the way through, but I want to go back and do that some day. I also agree that Halo 4 is the best Halo yet, besides CE, at least from the several days worth of MP I've played so far.

Werent there rumors of a Halo 2 remake for 360/720?

That would be....shit hot! If they took advantage of the graphics and the MP play was there, at least.

Still think Halo 2 was the series peak for MP

Uhh, Microsoft "allowed it" last gen.

2014 would be the 10 year anniversary. Makes sense to have it then and a brand new game in 2015. I say skip 2013 for anything related to Halo.

A fan of video games keeping my enthusiasm in check for Durango? I'm sorry I haven't gotten my MS tattoo yet. Just wait until Tuesday!

No need for a tattoo, just answer one question. What is your favorite color?

If 343i did do a Halo 2 Remake, they better go into the archives, pull the game docs and finish all of the cut levels to insert them back into the campaign, then put all the new features that CEA had inside of it.

Just the levels alone would be justification for re-buying it.

Wonder how many new titles will be revealed? On one hand, E3 is just around the corner, but on the other, I don't think they'd willingly 'lose' to Sony in this.

I frankly don't understand the mindset which allows people to be convinced that rumors and unconfirmed "leaked" specifications, published by Kotaku, Edge, et. al. (and which are over a year old) are worthy of belief, yet forget that Microsoft has never allowed a competitor's videogame console to outclass their system , in terms of power and/or capability. Why would Microsoft suddenly allow Sony a decided performance advantage in this new generation? The logical answer is that they haven't.

I fully expect performance parity, if not a slight performance edge in favor of Microsoft.

This is a rather poor argument. You think it is just a case of one up's man ship? Sony has a far bigger reputation as technological engineering firm compared to MS. But that isn't the issue here, MS may be content with the specs and aiming for offering value in other ways. I personally wouldn't be surprised to see the specs get a bit of a bump, but I think your rational is flawed.

Yeah, I resciend my previous title.

Now I'm with

Xbox Event 2013 |OT| Only on Xbox
The subtitle is nice, though "Xbox: A New Generation Revealed |OT| Only on Xbox" I think look better than just "Xbox Event" (for there'll be many more of those I suspect).

They have more credibility than a paste bin though?

The thinking had been that Sony had 4 gb RAM and 8 gb DDR3 would have been enough to achieve parity.

Yeah, you're right. I like that better.

Ah alright.

Well, when we refer to that; I have always assumed that the past couple of years have been abnormal for Halo; Yes a new game came out every year, but it was just a consequence of timing. CEA is a once in a time thing (unless Halo 2 remake rumors are true, and even then that's a year away) which coincided with the games 10 year anniversary. Halo Wars was just Ensemble wanting to try their hands at an RTS Halo game.

Don't get me wrong though, I would absolutely kill for a new Halo game (Halo Wars 2 please), but I've just always seen it as an abnormal coincidence.

And ODST was Bungie wanting to get out of their contract.

I think the new tent sign nixes any possibility of a logo change or new branding. They will just add the new word to the end.
