MS totally went after getting COD and Fifa exclusive on 720 (in terms of nex gen) it's whether Acti and EA have bitten is the question.

Imagine the advantage out of the gate with these two exclusive, it instantly propells 720 ahead of PS4

They just need the first Next Gen Fifa exclusive, would attract alot of the core Fifa Players. This would build a next gen online Fifa Community in the first year, which would lead to more future Fifa sales on xbox. So maybe Fifa14 for Xbox360, ps3, PC and Xbox3. Next year the same + ps4, who knows

Userbases will be so small for PS4 and 720 this holiday that MS could have gone to Acti and EA and said, we'll offer you this amount of money to subsidies the loss of PS4 sales plus extra.

It's only feasible at this point, when EA and Act have little to lose.

Yeah, no idea about the specific conditions, I suppose time exclusives are possible. I'm not sure it would be enough to convince people in Europe, though. Many people still associate FIFA to Playstation, here.

Is there really that big a difference between buying a bunch of studios and publishers, and money-hatting? At least studios remain somewhat independent with the latter.
