Don't all the rumors, supposedly the more reliable one's, all point to the next Xbox requiring either a constant online connection or having to be online to authenticate a game?
Unless I've missed some recent news, the fear of some kind of online requirement, whether it be constant or brief, is supposed to be required.

Dude on the GT stream said PSN had better exclusives then XBLA this gen... Ehhh, I would argue against that pretty hard.
As an owner of both consoles since their launch, I have to side with XBLA.

He probably is only thinking about the past couple years with stuff like Journey on PSN and is forgetting how much XBLA dominated early on.
I thought he said PS3 had better exclusives than 360. But anyway, if he was talking about PSN and XBLA, I think that's pretty subjective. Both digital platforms have had some AMAZING exclusives.

What did you see and what can we expect?
Yeah I hear that from some influential people living in Japan and then I check their Xbox gtag and the last game they played was like 3 years ago and their total gamescore is like 8,000...oh, you have played Geo War 2, good work! If that was the only XBLA game I played I might think the same thing too.
Some of the XBLA fans on GAF and Penny Arcade are my personal gaming heroes - the amount of money and time they spend supporting arcade-ish 2D games is commendable (looking in Toythatkills direction)
What is funny is the two guys behind XBLA are pretty much game industry gods even to people who like Japanese games:

..like, maybe actually play the games on the platform you like to complain about before making blanket statements? I love the heck out of some of the PSN exclusives but it really is a wash at best, XBLA had some really great exclusives and some of them only got ported to PC or PSN much later
PSN is pretty much the only thing I have used my PS3 for, as 360 was always my platform of choice for multiplatform titles due to my larger network of friends and a preference for my Gamerscore over my Trophy count.
PSN has definitely been good enough to justify my purchase of the console, on top of the exclusives and BluRay obviously. But PSN mostly.

I can see what you're saying, but I guess I was just more surprised at how quick he wrote off XBLA (which someone mentioned before) as if MS hadn't pumped out hit after hit for years on the platform.

It's probably a second tarp over the first. If they're using Illumiroom then white will work for the inside but the projections will need to block out light, hence the black outside.
