Same as Valve and Sony were not exactly close when all that went down.
I'm working on the same assumption that all the posturing and bluster from Valve about linux and steamboxes was leading to a good deal on the new Xbox.

That wasn't detailed during the show, though. The real technical information was provided later, through press release and later interviews. Not that it's a bad thing... it's even a great improvement on previous performances from Kutaragi. Actually I would have preferred even less spec talks (the over-simplified slide I quoted isn't really useful, "there's good CPU and good GPU and good RAM and good storage"... the conference would have been just as fine without that).

GT was really good for PS4 reveal so that's what I'm watching today.

Didn't they do that for the 360? Halo 2 had just come out, and Halo 3 was only released in 2007.
Almost guaranteed that more games will be announced at E3. "Better?" Well, better is a subjective term. Do you honestly believe that Bungie's next big sci-fi shooter, Destiny, has "no appeal to the rest of the world" and "appear overrated?" Even with Killzone, not being the biggest FPS franchise out there; you claim that it has "no appeal to the rest of the world?" Likewise, Watch Dogs has "no appeal?" Infamous: Second Son has "no appeal?" Come on, now.
With that said, I think anyone with common sense realize that Sony would never reveal all their cards in a single early-2013 conference, and have nothing left in the tank for E3. People such as yourself who were critical of the PS4 reveal shouldn't be disappointed if Microsoft also reserves many of their announcements for E3, especially considering the event is only 1-hour long.
