Where is the best place or what is the best app for the iPhone to watch this?

It needs to be low bandwidth because I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere overseeing a construction crew. :(

I doubt that. Launch games won't look much better than Killzone I think. CoD at least won't lol

If they bring out Halo or Alan Wake everything is possible of course.

We will be seeing cod compared to todays cod I expect to be impressed.
Also seeing sports games so yea, Im a huge sports gamer so Im pretty sure I got the right to be impressed by what they are gonna show. No sport games at sony conference was a downer

That would be such a disaster if true. I think there will be a few today.

I think today will be focused on platform capabilities as demonstrated by key franchises that MS know will create buzz in the mass media. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a couple POC demonstrations from new studios like Lift London (Games as a Service) or LA Studio (interactive programs) using existing IP in some capacity. I think they'll be forward about those intentions.

Platform focus today, content focus (and new IP) at E3.

I am really glad that both Sony and Microsoft is doing its own thing so people can focus on just the hardware. The WiiU was revealed at E3 and there was just too much white noise during that time. (Oh and N really fucked up explaining the damn thing) this seems so much safer and controlled.

I'm so excited. Though not about the things you might think about.

I don't care about always online, or Kinect games or 1.2flops or any of that shit. I want to see a wonderful controller and those great new features live will offer.

Hope this gets good use:

10.00 Short history of Xbox, sales data.
10.05 Xbox X, the console itself is revealed.
10.07 Bullseye lits the stage revealing a long haired guy no one seems to recognize.
"I'd like to talk about the hardware inside this box..."
"...the real specs, i mean..."
"...let me introduce myself, first. I'm Xxxx Yyyy, but you probably know me as SuperDAE. And you're not prepared for what i'm going to tell you"
10.10 Tent explodes from too much teraflops.

Phil was a disaster at Sony, he.funded way too many shitty games. Yoshida is 100 times better than Harrison

Well, as long as your happy snipes :]

I started playing crackdown 2 again, there is just too much shit to do it that game and it is not that interesting. They also need a new city/area to explore.

Don't get me dreaming now....

I would think they would have 1 new IP that showcases what the vision for the console is. I guess they could do that with COD or one of EA's titles; but you would think it would be way to really emphasize what they are going for

You really shouldn't expect that. E3 is the time for that. From a business perspective they better spend the time today to wow the mainstream press when the world is actually looking to them. You do that with big franchises.

Mountains would crumble if they showed off a Killer Instinct reboot, at least for me. While I realize KI is not a new IP, a reboot ala Mortal Kombat would be bigger than anything they could show off such as Gears 4 or whatever. We need a new, big IP or rebirth of an IP at today's event.

Oh, of course. Next gen FIFA will look awesome I bet.

If Microsoft intend on going forward with big new I.P (to replace things like Gears of War) then today is definitely the day to reveal them.
I honestly don't think so dude. Get ready for a disappointment.

I think this might happen actually.

I hope we see a new IP too. I laugh at those that say it would be a disaster/fail without on at this show though.

For the uninformed, there's this huge event with an E and a 3 in it...it's a few weeks from now.

I expect something though....but that's us hardcore gamers. The rest of the world won't give a crap. They'll be happy just to see a new Xbox.

(Also, again, anyone know the best place/app to watch this on an iphone in the middle of nowhere...aka over 3G)

You want some predictions? Here's mine...

1. No price reveal today. Will be said to be "competitively priced"

2. actual (Black) design of the console shown.

3. The name will be something like Xbox Infinite or something like that but not "Xbox" by itself.

4. Kinect 2.0 will be very cool with at least one "killer app" shown. Kinect will be Bundled of course. The sensor will be smaller like the Wii sensor, but not that small. Many will be excited over the possibilities, but it won't convince all of GAF.

5. The controller will be pretty much the same with some minor enhancements.

6. Used games work, but Pubs can block if they choose. Console works when not connected to internet, but only games work (obviously).

7. Big focus on Surface 2.0. Supports most iOS and Android devices. Some "revolutionary" stuff will be shown here.

8. BC only through the 360 Mini. No price. Coming in the Fall. No disc drive. Another way to get BC is to hook your current 360 to the new Xbox via usb/hdmi pass through or you could just hook it up directly to another input on your TV lol.

9. Respawn title "only on xbox". teased. EA and MS unprecedented marketing partnership announced. Only exclusive features/modes/dlc on all EA's other games. No true exclusives. Call this "best on xbox" lol. PGR5 teased. Dead Rising 3 "only on xbox". COD exclusive DLC again. A Halo title teased, but we're not told exactly what it is. "More games at E3..."

10. Ends with Hints at future expansive possibilities of Xbox Next showing illumination and possibly a oculus type device. Catch phrase: "Xbox is home to all the biggest franchises and the best versions of each and all the best innovations in gaming will be on Xbox" or something.

11. Xbox next specs upped but still not as powerful as PS4 on paper. 15% weaker or so, but we won't know for sure at the reveal. MS will call it the most "advanced console" every created, not "the most powerful"

At a one hour long hardware reveal? Are you being intentionally obtuse?

The vast majority of big game reveals will be saved for June 10th. This is a media spectacle to show off the new Xbox, give it a name, show a little of what it can do and refuel the hype train, destination E3.

As I said, you could see a new IP or two teased in a reel, but this event is not designed around games, in contrast to E3 (as Aaron and Larry have stated)

I'd say there's a chance of one new IP - Titan - but I wouldn't be surprised if Activision weren't happy about that and would refuse them Call of Duty, so maybe not.

What he did at Sony probably...sell executives on social hipster soccer mom connected gaming experiences
Didn't Phil get MM to make LBP?

Respawn confirmed we won't be seeing anything of their game until E3.

Yep. Of course there has to be some kind of game shown, but likely some short teasers/trailers. With E3 less than a month away, it's a waste to show the same stuff at both events and might as well save games for E3.
