In so excited to see the different items in the game. My favorite part of these games is assembling a super house with tons of cohesive rooms.

Maybe I'm odd... I keep checking into this thread, hoping to discuss this game.. but when I think about it, there isn't much to discuss without the game being available to me aside from "zomg I want my house to be (random object) themed"

Yeah. I feel the same. There's always something happening with these qr codes or new screenshots, etc. Things that people find in between how many days are left.
That QR link feels like I'm shopping but I can't buy anything. I need to stop while I'm not addicted yet.

I know you have to go to Mabel's shop, then you can scan a code and turn it into a pattern, which you can then apply as wallpaper, ground patterns, etc.
I'm unsure how the four-pattern clothes work though.

I'm frustrated. This is kind of off topic, but since I was debating digital Animal Crossing, I got a 32gb SD card (Sandisk Ultra, the one that comes up all the time in recommendations.) I followed all of Nintendo's instructions on getting it ready and transferring my data. Put it in my system, and fired up Swapnote. every single one showed up, then when I chose one, they all became corrupted. Next, my XL tells me the card was removed. Tried again, loaded a game, and it ran. Then, when I closed it it gave me the removed error. Sigh, guess I'm going full physical for Animal Crossing.
Huh, maybe I should get a guide too but just not open it until I'm in the collecting phase.

Each game cart can hold one town/village. In the town/village, there can be four players/residents. So technically there are 4 save slots but a lot of the fun is owning your own town, especially in this game with the Mayor. Only the first player is Mayor.
What can the mayor do that others can't?

The Mayor can choose which and where to build Public Work Projects. These can be simple additions like benches and street lamps, or greater additions like fountains, bridges, campsites, buildings, and more. Not to say you can't still have fun as a resident of someone else's town. I just personally prefer having my own town to myself.

Mayor is the one making the big decisions such as placement of environment items like benches, bridges, and lamp-posts.
I don't know if the other 3 human players can have any input with that.
