The white XL is really nice. My friend got it but I went with the Pikachu one instead...big mistake. It's still in the box.
I still don't understand why they haven't released the white/black XL in NA, surely those would be the most popular colors?

I do plan to upgrade to an XL sooner or later. Just imagining how good Fire Emblem would look, mm. I find myself squinting going "who the hell is that unit?"

Unless it's your eyes that are actually faulty, I'm not sure the XL is gonna help. It just makes the same number of pixels bigger.

Don't get Donkey Kong then. DK gets really, really tiny when you shoot him into the background. And I'm playing on a 3DS XL. Fire Emblem looks amazing on it, though.

Well the screen will be huge, so... some difference I guess. I don't know, I love my OG and I've played it for many an hour, but the build quality is atrocious. Squeaky/wobbly d-pad, flimsy hinge, awful shiny texture and the blasted circle pad imprint.
It's conjecture at the moment because I can't afford an XL, but I'd love a big-ass screen.

I don't like to bad mouth people, but his scent nearly killed everyone within a ten foot radius. If you're going to sit next to someone then make sure there isn't anything on the seat first!
The screens are bigger and the battery life longer, but the image isn't as..crisp (can't think of the word right now).
I think it has something to do with the pixel density - the XL having them spread out over a larger area
