We lost our City Folk town due to a Wii repair. Thankfully, I had very little invested there, and my son didn't seem to mind starting over.

I'm waiting on my poptart bundle. And my town is going to be very boring since I'll get to catching bugs/fish/beach/fruit/fossils/MONEY before I'd even focus on the exterior or the interior. I always save my flowers LAST because of all that running around I do.
Thats pretty much what I will be doing too. Gotta get rich! Lol
I'll try doing this as well.
I think my time is still GMT rather than BST. Guess I'll need to change that before the game comes out.

It seems like it, but it also looks pretty pricy. When you see a trailer or video with town projects in it, peep those prices $$$

The same thing happened to me, but I had invested at least two years into my town at that point. >_<
I've probably played more Animal Crossing in my life than most of the people in this thread combined. I played Animal Crossing daily from September 2002 to sometime in 2011. Losing my City Folk data broke my heart.
I haven't really played Animal Crossing since besides dabbling with the Japanese import of New Leaf...
You can always do those nice events after you make crap loads of cash. Lol

So I read what I missed, and I'm super excited to prove myself worthy as a trusted visitor in your towns, alerting you if I find a present or hidden item, etc. I think we should post a set of rules on the billboard and we can review them on the first visit. Mine would be: ask before taking and it's yours, no running near the flowers patch area, and...that's it. That should do it.

Going to other towns and meeting the new villagers was my favourite part of WW.
