Animal Crossing: New Leaf comes out in a month.

Zomg, I got my 3ds xl today at Target's sale. I got Fire Emblem to kill time until AC is out. I might have to get AC at gamestop since Amazon says AC won't come until the 12th with prime.. wtf. Oh and add me 5472-6963-7877
 
You know, I was thinking about the game's launch for those of us getting it as soon as it gets released in the eShop and how odd it'll be to go through the early parts of the game in the middle of the night. If that's even possible.

You can actually do some tasks for Isabelle at the start (basically the same type of stuff you did for Tom in the previous games) and she'll give you some tools. Not all though. I'm on day 4 and still waiting to get my Axe and Slingshot.

Also, for people talking about tools,
I think if you nag Isabelle she will give you the tools you need? From Japanese footage this may be the case

It's possible. Though they scrapped that stupid Nook chore system for the first time, so hooray.

Yeah I noticed this, too. But I had credit with Amazon after selling them one of my school books. I'll just have to deal with waiting another 3 days. I'll be busy taking in all the E3 news and stuff anyway.

Don't America have any online retailers that send off their games early?

Like in the UK, Shopto, who delivers (I would have gone with if not for that GAME preorder bonus) a Friday release to you on the Wednesday of that week =D

Or do most US retailers are scared of getting blacklisted by publishers or something? =/

I'd play City Folk if I had the system for it. I never had a Wii/Nintendo64/GameCube. Meaning I never played any of the games they had. All I was was an SNES.
 
I might as well go ahead and attempt to get as many playcoins now to finish up Find Mii 2 Secret Quest + puzzles and utilize the rest for AC when it comes out.
 
The more I hear about Wild World, the more I realise I actually hate it.

Far too many Yay Days, La-Di-Days, Stupid Face Days, Smelly Days, Doris-Days, Die-Another-Days and Flea Markets.

I'll be honest, I don't even remember all this. I always just ignored the villagers and did my own thing.

Damn. And I thought I was deprived because I was stuck with the SNES when all my friends has Ninntendo64s (I'm certain I was in the one part of the UK where N64s outnumbered PSXs)

Well seeing as you can use only 2 daily in the beginning, playcoins shouldn't be an issue unless you don't go outside with your 3DS...

You missed out on a lot! I'm playing the game on my Wii U, though my Wii is right next to it... if only to play gamecube games on it.

This is pretty much all my friends and I are doing tonight is playing this. We're all jonesin'. I may bring it up on my stream later. Won't be the most entertaining thing, but it'd be relaxing I guess.

Really the worst part if WW was the sterile events. New Leaf looks like the best of Gamecube and WW, with the kitchen sink thrown in.
 
Are we going to get the Animal that lets you create a face for it again? I was always terrible at that in WW. Imagine if you could use the camera for that feature, haha.
 
Only played the DS game, but I do have Let's Go to the City (my sister liked it a lot). I'd much rather wait for New Leaf rather than risk burning myself out and then forcing to leave any progress I make to play the 3DS game.

So many good memories from the GC version. That game, Persona 3, and Katamari Damacy were the most amazing blind buys ever.

Never played it, always watched my brother run through it though. The moon still freaks me out.

Oh man, are there color variations of Link's tunic in NL? Runnning around as Four Swords Link's would be fun.
