It's a pre-E3 trailer for PS4, I tried to use only next gen games and engines and not cross gen stuff, but as I don't have access to Adobe this weekend I had to cobble it together on Movie Maker :S
Hopefully it still is somewhat enjoyable and hype-building.

I'm so fucking pumped. I've missed the big blowout E3s of years past and I love the direction Sony is taking with the PS4 and how aggressive and confident they are without being cocky. They've learned a lot this gen and I hope they bring it at E3.

If Sony shows Final Fantasy Versus XIII, The Last Guardian and a new IP from Sony Santa Monica all for PS4 then it will already be better than the last 3 E3s combined.

If they have other stuff they are willing to show, big games and new IP on top of that other stuff - it'll be insane. Especially if they announce a decent price and global launch this year.

Nintendo is cornered and it HAS to resurrect Wii U this holiday. After that its too late. We will see big stuff from them that is for sure.

And then there is Sony+MS. Going head to head this holiday. Sony especially is apparently well on track with next gen development and they have invested much on the project and this is the day they intend to sell the box for hardcore gamers (read:Gaffers)

Same for MS. And unlike Sony they probably are even more desperate if the rumours about problems with development are true + probably quite a bit worse reception of the reveal event than they anticipated. They could prolly have gone even more insane moneyhat mode than before.

They had 2 hour event last year and they showed us fuckin Wonderbook. It will be a 2 hour event.

Edit: actually it was 1.5. REGARDLESS it will be 2 hours

Sony usually goes around 1.5, so 2 isn't outrageous or anything. Especially if they talk about PS3 and Vita.

Gopher's comment earlier on the thread about Sony having so much to show that he would be shocked if the Vita of the PS3 are even at the conference has me hyped as fuck.

My guess for the PS4 part:
5 minutes of presentation of the console and eyecam and controller.
5 minutes of technology and hardware
10 minutes of games from Sony
30 minutes of game presentations and game engines from third party developers
30 minutes of the services and technology, including their policies on DRM and used games
10 minutes of more games
5 minutes of jawdropping secret game that will make some people cry

Rest of time will be spent on PS3, PS Vita and economics

Poor fellow has had to host few lamer E3s so give him one great one, he deserves it. Also I think he looks so satisfied when he gets to present something cool for a change like Uncharted 2 or something .

I think they're going to go big at E3 and anything that might not be quite ready or isn't as major of an announcement will be moved to Gamescom.

Tretton seems like a decent guy but he's not a great presenter, he's always really nervous which makes uncomfortable viewing.
I'd rather just have Cerny the whole time, that guy is just chill.

I like Trettons style. More than Kaz or House to be sure. Cerny is ace tho. I certainly like Tretton the most of the usual big 3 presenters (Tretton, Reggie, Don).

They shouldn't hold back at E3, it's go big or go home.
They need to really impress at E3 - cram it full of PS4 game trailers. There'll be a couple of on-stage gameplay demonstrations but as a whole it's all about those flashy trailers.

I think Gamescom is a better venue to host gameplay and actual extensive ingame footage of the games, E3 is all about the song and dance.

I would also like to see Tretton present this years E3. He's definitely become more comfortable as a speaker if you compare the first E3s he did in 2007/2008 to 2011/last years.
