Yep cancellation email too. Oh well, didn't really need it but would have been nice for the collection.

last of us regular edition is £34.99 at graingergames, £33.24 if you sign up for their rewards card. best price i've seen so far.

So that Flubit demand I put through finally came back, only took them 6 days. In all fairness they did get me a 13% discount on the Lego X-Wing so the wait's probably worth it.

There is a great promotion at Gamestop in Italy (physical store only) right now if you want to buy a 3DS or a PSVita:

Gamestop Italy portables promotion

So, you give to gamestop 3 PS3/360/Wii/WiiU games that are valid for the promotion and you can buy the 3DS for 1€(yes, only 1€!) or the PSVita for 29€. The promotion ends on June 2.

O_O

No list of games though, you have to search each game individually... probably so they can change it as they go.

If you want to take a risk Amazon marketplace seller Gzoop has Super Mario 3D Land for £10.99+£2.03 (UK). They have about 20 left. I don't see the game getting any cheaper but I've heard too many stories of them sending out completely the wrong things and then you having to pay to return it to them or go to a collect+ place and other inconveniences. For that reason, I'm not bothering as I don't want the hassle.

Little bit OT but hopefully some of Running-GAF can help, if they're in here. I'm looking for a relatively-cheap-but-good pair of headphones for running outdoors, I have some good ones that I use for everyday stuff but they're IEMs so the sound of the cables travels up into my ears if I try running in them. I only need something cheap, but it'd be good if they'd last a little while and were somewhat sweat resistant. Does anyone have any recommendations up to around the £20 mark?

As I recently found out in the Beats thread, headphone people are insane. However...

Monoprice Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earphones - £5.31 @ Amazon

...are pretty okay in terms of sound/value. They actually sound quite good (not spectacualr, but really good for that price)

Then...,

NuForce NE600X In-Ear Stereo Earphones with Flat Cable and Replacement Ear Cushion - £24.95 @ Amazon

...for better build quality (but not significantly better sound), but a much inflated price.

Jesus, I really need that second Vita for my US account. Quick, somebody find out a list of games they'll take that I can buy for cheap on zavvi or amazon uk :O

EDIT: damn, it ends on sunday, not enough time for that :/

If anyone else from Italy is interested, Dragon's Dogma PS3, Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen PS3, The Last Story Limited Edition and Deadly Premonition Director's Cut are all compatible. I'm rushing to the nearest gamestop right now, hope they won't make any problem lol.

Do they take games bought from Zavvi et al.? I've tried once at Opengames but they refused to take them (the barcode wasn't in their database or something).

Phew! Managed to grab Mario 3D Land for that price. Thanks guys! What would I do without you?

Probably wouldn't spend all my money buying games

You guys get that this is either a) a placeholder or b) Amazon trolling or c) both, right?

Well yeah, you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure that out. It even says with big letters in the middle of the screen: "IMPORTANT INFORMATION: the price is a placeholder".

They usually don't change things very quickly, but it's possible.

Yes, not enough time for that, you have to use what you have or buy in some Italian store. Two days ago Inversion was 13€ on amazon.it, and it was valid. Now, unfortunately, the price is up and I'm not sure if it's valid anymore.

You should be fine if you have controlled the validity of the games on the site.

As far as I know, with Gamestop it's kinda random, some stores take UK games, others don't.

Yeah, headphone-GAF are crazy. I have a decent mid-range pair that I'm happy using outside of running, but I just need a cheap pair that aren't going to break if I get sweaty running outside, and maybe clip over the ears so the sound of the cables rubbing against my shirt don't transmit up the wires into my ears. Thanks for the recommendations!

Looks like gzoop has quite a few game discounts currently, all with limited stock.
Some that looked reasonable to me are (Dont forget to add £2.03 to the prices for delivery):-
Pandoras Tower (Wii) £6.27
The Last Story (Wii) £11.62
Another Code R (Wii) £4.33
Wii Sports Resort £9.13
Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater (3DS) £5.55
Kirby Mass Attack (DS) £8.58
Get them quick if interested!

Damn, grabbed Last Story and Another Code. Missed Pandoras Tower but only wanted it to have the trilogy of JRPGs.

Mission accomplished! :D

I can confirm they take UK games, they even scan the barcode but apparently the computer doesn't recognize the difference between GB and IT games (or it doesn't care) so it's all good. The girl at the counter didn't even check for discs, scratches, manuals or for the contents of the limited edition O.o (I gave them The Last Story LE, had half an idea to put it on ebay since I didn't like the game very much but this was much quicker given that it's not very sought after, at least in Italy). Now I know I'll never buy used game from Gamestop. Thanks a lot Cuddler, I don't usually check gamestop's website (nor do I go to the stores) and I would have lost this amazing offer if you hadn't posted about it. Cheers!

Perhaps off topic here, but I ordered a 3DS game via Flubit and the wrong item arrived (from Zavvi). I returned the item for a replacement and have now been sent another different, but equally wrong item. I've requested a refund now as I can't be arsed playing roulette again.
