A couple of months back I read a rumor that Santa Monica's new game was going to be a first person shooter. I really hope that is not the case. I know they're sick of making third person action games, but a Norse mythology based God of War is something they should really explore.

Gof of War franchise definetley needs some rest. And one new game on the PS4 will give the chance to the team to create better optimized engine and workflow.

Tempted to say Watch Dogs, since that's what I'm anticipating most out of that list, but it had an exceedingly more impressive showing at E3... so I'll go with Quantic Dream's old man head.

Jokes, infamous: Second Son it is.
 
Rather than old IP coming back or revitalising or iterating on their current IP - I'd love them to start afresh like last generation.

And not to introduce more shooters, but to really go back to the drawing board. Platformers, open world, puzzlers, RPG's.

Things that were underrepresented this generation.

Tough decision.

Kanck was the sweetest (reminds me of the good old psx-crash bandicoot era)
Killzone is Killzone (I'm a fan, no matter what)
Destiny is ambitious, but too ambigous right now.
Watch Dogs for its MP

So everything is the one thing.

But I will still go with Deep Down (I was literally speechless for a minute after seeing those simulated flame effects.)

Watch Dogs, because Ubisoft totally stole the idea from me! (Kidding, but I was working on a game a few years ago that involved 'hacking' into the world around you to change pretty much anything)

Honestly I liked how Mark Cerny explained things, I didn't feel a sense of someone wanting my money, I felt true passion, that's a man you can trust when it comes to games.

Also "Please be Excited" left me speechless, and it's nice to LOL thinking back at it haha.

Oh man, so much goodness throughout those two hours. I'm going to say my favourite moment was....

Edit:about Q#9, i'm going to point on LBP3+Move, the 3d model creating stuff was something i wasn't expecting and i can imagine myself putting hours into that.
 
#9 Knack, reminded me of the PSOne era. I fully expect 90's nostalgia/escapism to feature prominently in their marketing of PS4.

#10 Agent, between GTA V and RDR 2 I don't see this one happening anytime soon.

I know how you feel. Sony still owe me money for God of War (my version was called 'The Fate'). They stole my idea straight out of my Digital Arts assignment book. Lol! No, but seriously, they did.

Anyway, yeah, Watch Dogs for me. Love 3rd person action/adventure - Upset that The Witcher III is apparently behind closed doors.

Would be to close to standard heroic fantasy I think. Should Sony explore a new universe, they should try Egypt, Mesopotamian or Hindu mythology. That would be cool.

My hope for the conference: no leaks until the conference starts, I want to be surprised.
 
I think infamous 2nd son is going to surprise a lot of people at e3... They will show a glorious gameplay/story trailer that will just blow my mind and make me get the PS4 day 1

Other things I'm looking forward to:
-Anything KojimaPro (ill have my lotion ready)
-Destiny (hopefully the PS4 version will actually look a lot better then the PS360 version but I doubt it)
-of course surprising game reveals that will have me saying "lawddddd did that just happen?"
 
Fav game showing @ February - Watch Dogs, being an open world fan. Little disappointed that two of the games shown just had to be from existing franchises (got no interest in Killzone games, and with Infamous it was just basically a cutscene).

Hoping for E3 it's wall-to-wall PS4 stuff without wasting time on anything for the PS3/PSVita, they could get that stuff out of the way the week before if they had the sense (of course they'll probably wait until the conference to reveal TLoU multiplayer, hey why don't they just splurge those TLoU spoilers that have been going around while they're at it?)
 
Using tweetdeck as a chrome plugin or windows/mac app with a column for each hashtag would make things easier

The Witness was the best reveal at the February thing. Braid is top five this generation, those old Myst games had an amazing sense of wonder, and Wind Waker is the prettiest game ever.

The Witness will be better than anything released on PS4 this year.
 
Someone should put up a Sony GAF IRC channel for E3.

Ohhh tough one, tough one. I enjoyed a few parts of it. Knack, InFamous, and The Witness were all parts that really interested me and made me pretty damn excited to hear more. But i can only pick one.

I kinda want to say InFamous because i loved InFamous 1 and 2, and i'm excited to see what Sucker Punch can do on the PS4. I'm sure InFamous: SS will be amazing and utterly mind-blowing in some ways.

But i think i have to say Knack. Really reminds me of where Playstation started out. So Knack.

But InFamous: SS is close behind.

Hardware-wise, the suspend/resume feature is right up there amongst my favourite things from the Meeting. But i still think Knack is the thing i am most excited for.

Anthony was the entire reason I listened - I admit I'm a hell of a long way behind due to poor itme management. I didn't even know Tyler had left until I saw a tweet recently,..... so I'm well behind - but next time I catch up, no Tyler, no Anthony? What's the point.
(Ok, Matt is alright when he's not mispronouncing fucking vehicle)
 
If they try to show off Last of Us MP footage at E3 I will be disappointed they kept it under wraps for so long.

I hope they spend time on anything but Last of Us, besides montage footage.

You can only fit so much stuff in 2 hours, so for a game releasing a few days later it seems utterly pointless.

They'll probably just mention it and review scores. I'm thinking the only reason it's coming out that Friday is because they're announcing a price drop at E3 and they want Last of Us to be out right when it takes effect.

But I agree, it's looking the most likely for top launch title.
 
It just dawned on me that June 10th is only a little over a week away.

Damn, so that means we are not really that far off from the inevitable meltdowns.

They will probably do what they did with inFamous 2 at E3 that one year. They'll show a short trailer and say the game is coming out this Friday.

The Ascension team is almost certainly making a next gen God of War. I believe they do refer to themselves as Santa Monica's God of War team after all.

The Watch Dogs demo only reaffirmed in my mind that it is by far my most anticipated game.
 
#9: That's actually a really tough one when I think on it. In terms of games, most of it looked great but in terms of excitement I would probably give it to Infamous: Second Son with Knack right on the heels of it as that title just reminded me so much of the old days.
