My CPU is shit (1055t with 6 cores) and I run the game @ 1080p, runs pretty well for the most part on Ultra lol. I don't think it will be revealed at E3, since Sony is focusing on Destiny. Also the game updated a lot on PC these days, it needs more content and fixes at this time.

But I would definitely expect a MGS showing during one of the conferences if it wasn't for the Konami Pre-Show June 6th.

yea I hope SOE is sharing that lighting and motion blur tech with other Sony studios. But in the past SOE has operated as a separate entity, they just do their own stuff

Just a quick clarification because I don't want people to have false expectations, I didn't mean that it is necessarily exclusive to PS4 by that post. Moreso that it'll be one of the big titles for PS4 to help in Japan against Nintendo. Hence the Japanese shores etc.

You know, I'm glad they'll be showing MGS V on the June 6th, the sooner the better. This game will be the last major game for the current gen I guess.

All I really want from the conference from a games standpoint is some sort of signal that the PS4 isn't going to take half a generation to get going on the JRPG front. The PS3 was a mess in that area. Sony let Nintendo and MS scoop up several key JRPG's while the PS3 was pretty much left with nothing for some time. Things have gotten a lot better for it in recent years (and a lot worse for the other two), but the weak start was really annoying. Simply having a FF confirmed isn't enough. The PS3 had that and look at what went on there.

I don't know about Japanese devs man. I guess Level 5's game could be there or maybe at TGS. Atlus is probably going to stick with handhelds, Tri Ace is dead, Mistwalker guys hate Sony...
Question to the Square-GAF, did SE released HQ version of the FF14 End of an Era cinematic for download? I have ~215MB 1080p version that was downloaded from YT.

So, can we expect the next-gen versions to be announced in the Pre-E3 Konami event if it's not a PS4 exclusive?
I'm betting we only see the PS360 version at Konami's show and then Hideo will be on stage with Sony to show off that sweet, sweet PS4 version.

I meant MS seems to be buddying up with kojima a lot lately, Even in the intro to their unveiling had Kojima in it which really surprised me. I expect some money hatting from MS for some MGS exclusive content. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
Quality over continuity, especially when it comes to JRPGs. Even if PS4 only gets FFXV, Persona 5 and something major from L5, it'll be better than PS3 has been.

Handhelds will get a lot of the JRPG's. But I think the idea that it's where they all go is wrong. You can look at the PS3 recently as a good example of the fact that consoles can still get a lot of them. Gust and Nippon Ichi almost develop exclusively for it, and they release quite a few JRPG's.
We know that there's a FF coming and Level 5 recently confirmed that they're working on a PS4 game as well. That's probably a JRPG. I don't expect the JRPG support to look like the PSone or PS2, but I hope that it'll at least resemble the current PS3 support and not what it looked like earlier in this generation.

Persona 5 is probably a PS3 title imo.
If that L5 game is Ni No Kuni 2 then yes. But thats because my hunch is that Persona 5 would most likely to be a Ps3 title rather than a Ps4 one.

The way JRPGa go, three platforms is unlikely. I think we might see a few PS4/Vita JRPGs but I expect the majority that will be on PS4 to just be PS4/consoles only.
Umm...no. PS3 has a lot of quality JRPGs and just three games don't make the PS4 better. It's going to need a lot more than that. Plus P5 is going to be a current gen game, I don't know why people keep listing is as a PS4 possibility when Atlus has literally only developed one PS360 game this gen. Persona 6 maybe, and even that may be a stretch knowing Atlus. At least whenever they get around to Persona 7.
No, it doesn't. SO4 was garbage, Eternal Sonata is pretty bad, XIII-2 was horrible, XIII was pretty bad, what is this great JRPG PS3 library you're talking about?

In the Sony dev reel they had Tim Schafer and Tameem in there. Doesn't mean there will be exclusives games from them. It's just showing support.
MS did have Kojima on stage to show Rising that one year, but we know how that turned out.
I would rather it be Dark Cloud 3 for PS4. Maybe that's the second JRPG megaton that Verendus is talking about?

Most GUST games are great (Atelier, Ar Tonelico). Ni No Kuni. Tales games. And some of those you mentioned are still great games. I dont see how the PS3 is not a very good console for JRPG players at all.

Tales of Graces, Xillia, Xillia 2, Nier, Demon's Souls (it's an RPG made in Japan, hence JRPG), Dark Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, Resonance of Fate, Dragon's Dogma, Atelier series (the new game looks especially good), Ninokuni, Disgaea? Then there's also Dark Souls 2 and Drakengard 3 coming. And more than likely P5.
You just listed 3 games SE published, then one Namco game. Doesn't seem like you've taken a look at many JRPGs to me...
Two E3s and one TGS actually.
Omega Boost 2 would be sweet. Next gen particles at 60fps :drool
It would also be a game from PD that I'd actually play, so that would be cool.
