BELIEVE!

I wonder how well Xbone can handle this engine.

yes. but I have no clue how it would work or control >_>

I was thinking that you'd be able to sculpt only by using the Move wand and you could define the thickness by the pressure on the trigger button. On how you'd be able to move them is beyond me.

I can kind of see this working better in games like Modnation Racers and LBP when creating tracks, levels, worlds, etc. It could even be good for objects.

Performance wise, can the PS4 handle it? How about the Xboney?

Expect it to be 30fps with perhaps some small cut backs in graphical and physics (cloth simulation) departments.

As for xboney, it'll most likely be the same with scaled up resolution.

Really really really really hoping for Kingdom Hearts III to be announced. The fact that the series skipped the PS3 altogether was saddening enough.

Either that or just SWTOR expansions. :(

Let it slumber till kingdom come.

Also, I postulate that the "old republic" saga has come to an end and one reason for it is how anachronistic it can feel in relation to technology established around the same time in Extended Universe. As such, we may get a RPG set in the same universe as the upcoming movies.

At 60fps?

Why would they create an engine which the next-gen consoles will struggle to run? Luminous is a versatile and a highly scalable engine. I think they've said before that it will even support smartphone games.

PS4 and X1 are quite similar architecture-wise, but a lot more can be accomplished on Sony's console due to a better GPU and RAM bandwidth.

I think the next Kingdom Hearts on PS4 (if it happens) will finally come within reaching distance of achieving CG quality, due mainly to the cartoony and simplistic character designs.
I mean look at Knack, and that's a launch game!

Luminous engine is a beast.

Honestly, any game trying to go for the CG-Pixar look will have no problems on PS4 hardware. Knack already has a great artsyle and a PS4 KH would melt faces. I'm still waiting for the day they give us A Goofy Movie world. :(

Are we sure it's not just the PC E3 demo video running on the PS4? :P

I was trying to find a side by side comparison video on youtube but was unable to locate it. I remember there were minor differences in color, contrast etc. all of which can be manipulated. Obviously there is no way for me to confirm it as I don't work for Square Enix Japan.

At 60fps?

Probably 30.
