Sorry, I completely forgot to report back. But it DOES indeed work! I have both digital and physical copies of the game and after registering the latter it said "Two down, one to go" in regarding the buy 3, get one free promotion. So yeah, it works

Okay so we've got confirmation it works if you also register a retail and digital copy XD, well at least you're close to your free game =D, what game you gonna get for the last code?
Getting Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and then Animal Crossing: New Leaf as my free game. Wanted to get Luigis Mansion 2 as part of the offer as well, but I'll get that at a later date now

No. eShops are separated by region.
I don't know why everyone is doubting me :/, I registered two retail MH3U codes for the promo, 100% confirmed by me that it works.

Why not take a screenshot of the important part of the club nintendo stars history then? It would clear everything right up, because it is a fact that, at least until every recently, you couldn't register more than a single copy of a game to a club nintendo account. No one has said you're lying (And why would you?) but it does go against what Nintendo decided in the past with regards to multiple copies of games on one account.
I've tried it before and it says that I've already registered the game (had two codes for Skylanders Giants 3DS, and have tried it with numerous other games).
I was able to register my former retail copy of Super Mario 3D Land, and my free digital copy of Super Mario 3D Land, though.

It was the fact that you used 2 retail codes that made us confused. I mean I remember trying to register my cousin's Pokemon white code cause he wanted to give it away and it didn't work for me, and it said I have already registered the game and could only register it once...so you see mine and other's scepticism on the matter.
I still find it odd you could register 2 MH3U retail codes, though I guess they made it a special case now that I think about it cause it had an extended survey.
Edit: Just to make sure it isn't the Wii U version? Both are 3DS registers right?
Both are 3DS copies, the Wii U version is not part of the "So Many Games" promotion.
At least for DS and Wii you could, right?

I think back in 2002 you would register multiple copies of the same game. They closed that up as store employees were just stealing cards for themselves.
As far as consoles go. They used to be as long as they were different. So hardware bundle vs. regular but these days consoles seem to be the same for all (even a 3DS XL bundle has a 3DS XL code then the digital code). edit: or maybe not...
Its possible the MH3U double registration was a glitch that has since been closed.

I have registered two 3DS XL consoles. One red and one white with MK7 installed. Don't know if that matters

Huh, yeah I have no idea how you registered 2 MH3U retail codes but you understand why everyone was getting confused XD, cause you are like the unprecedented Club Nintendoer that managed to register 2 retail copies of the same game XD
If they are different model makes you can, aka 3DS and 3DSXL XD

Also now that I'm looking at my history, I see that I have Mario Kart 7 registered twice as well. One physical copy and the one that came pre-installed with the white XL. Guess that's a special case as well (or it counts as digital + physical a la my two Fire Emblem Awakening registrations.
That's good to hear. How was it shipped? Was slightly worried after hearing about the snes controllers being shipped in mailing bags. I ordered mine the day they became available again, so hopefully I get mine soon too.
It was shipped in a brown box. They didn't use packing inside of that, however the trophys come in boxes themselves and the trophys are surrounded by polystyrene. Consequently mine weren't damaged at all. Seems like it was shipped via royal mail tracked 48 from a UK office.
Has anyone recieved a code for a free game yet? Not had the code for DKCR yet.

I think someone said that they received the code for the promo a day after it the game has been released, so wait for Saturday, I'm waiting for my code too.

I got my mushroom trophy today. it is rather small (around the size of the palm of my hand) The red paintwork looks a bit shoddy at the edges, and there is some strange marks on the silver areas. The box itself is just a plain white one with a mario kart club nintendo sticker on the front, opposed to fully printed boxes on other items. If I'd known what I know now, I don't think I would of bothered, but at least it was sort of free. If anyone wants to see it for themselves, I'd be happy to take some pictures.

Does this mean any time we complain about the American catalgoue the Americans can't bark back about that controller...
But, the Russians still have it. In other news they no longer have the Zelda statue.
They also have some of the old junk like the animal crossing CD (featuring fan favourites of KK sider songs...except NOE messed up the poll) which I swear was 400 stars before...and this odd piece of PR...

So I reached enough points to get either of the G&W Collections (only decent thing on the Australia store).
Which would you guys rate higher between the two?

I have both.
Collection 1 has Oil Panic, Donkey Kong, Green House.
Collection 2 has Parachute, Octopus, and a Parachute/Octopus hybrid.
imo: Donkey Kong > Octopus > Parachute > Green House > Oil Panic
I'd give the edge to collection 2 if you only get one.

Hi people wonder if anyone can help as im new to the club Nintendo stuff.
A few months ago i tried to login to the EU Stars site for about a month but the stars site was down it said not to worry as it was being updated for the EU and that i would get a extra few months as it was offline.
I have logged in today to check and not only has it not given my my extra few months its also saying my points expire today!! i registered all my cards on 31/06/2012 (so site is robbing me 1 month)
had loads of old cards that i found and got from my family like:

It might be counting June as a month (even though the games were only registered for one day of it). But yes, the expiration should not be happening yet (unless they've changed the terms again). The customer services can be pretty useless so don't expect any stars back.
As for the extra month. You were only given that if your stars were expiring in the month that the system was down.

Hi thanks for your help, that would explain a lot of things!! But still not the 24 months expire date stuff. i have been on the site to look at the T&C's and it says 24 months on it also.... hmm 0_o
When you say the customer support is crap, so they will defo not give me back my points? or they will but take there time about it? anyone have any experience with them with regards to something like this, stars expiring early?
Today is the last day i have.... to spend them i think (if they dont give me back my points as wrong expire date) what should i do? spend them or wait (as nothing good at the moment) knowing that they will fix my problem, what you guys/girls think?
Were the T&C's different last year around June? eg 12 months or something, that could explain this, anyone know?
