Nintendo x Capcom -> RE2Make
Nintendo x Square-Enix -> Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles & Secret of Evermore
Nintendo x Konami -> Metal Gear: Ghost Babel

I approve of this.

Speaking of which, why isn't Ghost Babel on the eShop yet?

Also, the tears if P5 is a Ninty exclusive. It will be delicious.

Lol

it's not often that all three companies are desperate to prove themselves.

1. nintendo needs the wii u to finally be considered worth buying
2. sony's seeking a comeback from the ps3 generation
3. microsoft has to make sure people get hyped up on the xbox one after a disastrous reveal

...so everyone's hungry. and as the generation settles in, there are usually less things to be excited about.

but aside from that, big conventions are becoming increasingly irrelevant when companies can effectively market to their own crowd without the need to design booths, create demos, set time aside for conferences, etc. i'm not sure that if we get to another generation, that it would be as exciting as this one.

Nope, feel free to jump on aboard!

Do be warned, however, that the Hype Train is currently cruising at an increasing speed that will reach dangerously fast levels once the E3 2013 Nintendo Direct approaches.

We cannot stop this train, nor do we want to.

Time your leap carefully, for failure to do-so will result in yourself either missing the train entirely or...well...something far...far worse.

Best of luck!

Never too late! Just hop aboard!

Aww aren't you guys a welcoming bunch. Consider me aboard!

You need to post a gif to measure your hype level.

Does this work

I need to begin to make my own hype .gifs

Too bad I've never made one and the idea I have for one may be too hard for me to do.

I have a feeling you might be right.

I see exactly what you mean.
I feel Sony & Nintendo will have a fun E3. EA is going to help ruin MS at E3.

It's going to be glorious!

I do wonder how Nintendo plans on stepping up from the last two 3D Mario console games having deep space and planets as settings, or might it be like a sequel to 3D Land?

Space seems like the final frontier, but the space setting itself isn't what made the Galaxy games. It was the level design. I wonder if they'll take advantage of the WiiU's asymmetric design and craft levels that either 1) bounce back and forth between the two screens, or 2) provide two perspectives on the same platforming action, one via the GamePad and one via the TV, like that ninja game in Game & Wario.

Alternate dimensions with the Gamepad. Been saying this since the Wii U was announced and will stand by it until the very end.

haha, I had something pretty similar in mind. The key, I think, is that no matter in which "dimension" you currently are, the camera follows your position around in both, so by looking at the two screens you can always see exactly where you are and how your actions might be affecting either one.

If there are multiple directs, you people should really really contain your hypes for the first one. There is no doubt they will almost exclusively focus on stuff playable on the show floor. No point in hyping up the next year stuff and lets be honest, that is where the megatons you all want will be.

No the first will most likely be the big one

With the Wii U games that they've already revealed, Nintendo appears to have the next two years covered in terms of AAA releases so far.

2013:

Game & Wario
Wii Party U
Wii Fit U
Sonic: Lost World
The Wonderful 101
Pikmin 3
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Mario Kart U
Super Mario Underground

2014:

Xenoboris
Yoshi's Epic Yarn
Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
Retro's Project
Third Sonic Exclusive
Bayonetta 2

2015:

Super Smash Bros. Unchained
The Legend of Zelda U

All they need to do is fill in the gaps with F-Zero, Star Fox, Kid Icarus, Metroid, Donkey Kong, StarTropics, and a few new properties to ensure their success in the near or distant future. AararaARGGH!
