Listen to this man, its not one or the other, sony is not paying to have indie games made over AAA.
Indie games are a blessing on the vita, and i would take them over shoddy poorly made "AAA' games...
in the US/NA Portable Ops does not work on Vita. (not sure about EU)
and the other option..which is Piss Walker is a horrible game (as bad as MGS4, Kojima is a lost cause) don't even think about it.

I'm really quite enjoying playing Limbo again on the Vita (thanks to cross buy). I definitely wouldn't of re-bought it.
My Vita is letting me download it. I'll let you know how it goes.

Lol. Peacewalker is actually my favorite metal gear game, especially in the gameplay dept.

It don't have camera controls, the camera just follow your movement (like Medievil Resurrection).

Peace walker is an awful game. Portable ops is the better game in this case.

but for now you can change your Vita privacy setting (setting app under PS network and change "receive friend requests" to no one/friend of friend ) so that you don't get any random friends requests at least till the app forget your PSN ID.

On Vietnamese gaming forums (where I frequently post), we have been using that for-god-know-how-long and its pretty much become the norm.
Beside people on these sites are terrible at English so typing "Microsoft" is just too painful (compare to Sony or Nin)

Just downloaded Limbo. Played it on 360 and would have never bought it for the 12,99 pricetag. But getting it free on Vita now because of the Crossbuy+Ps Plusfree thing I started it and played a few minutes.
Man I wish I would have never played it before. It looks so gorgeous on the Vita. Will probably give it a second run now on the Vita. I just wish I didn't knew every corner :/
But this will be the perfect game to show to my pretty gaming-ignorant family. Will give the Vita to my brother/sister I'm pretty sure they will like it.

Art look decent, they didn't ruined the artstyle of the series like with they've done to Onimusha Soul.

VS was surprisingly very enjoyable, one of the best musou style games I've played (Chaos Legion is still the best in the genre).

Playing JSR just makes me wish for a JSR:F port. Even though it took a step back removing the inputs for graffiti, the movement and grinding was way easier to do and more fun. It is so damn hard to land on a rail sometimes and you can lose momentum so easily too
At I least know how to tackle missions by taking on the big graffitis first before the cops come. Removes a huge part of the frustration knowing that.

weighing in on MGS, i think Peace walker is my favorite aswell, played so much better than POps imo, due to controls, and also i think they designed the mission better not having to drag people throughout the entire map back to the truck.
Peace walker was something that was very special, it retained the epic grand dumbness of MGS, but also added this meta game component that was so fun to to grind on. granted alot of the PW meta game was taking cues from POps, but it was just executed at such a high level.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world that can't get into P4G. Should I run back to Disgaea now or is there a certain 'clicking point' in the game for most people? I know it's blasphemy and it's not bad, it's just I dunno.

it's really slow for the first 3 or so hours, and then after 10 or so it starts opening up, and then after 15-20 it truly hits it's stride.
and every game isn't for every one. For example I would much rather play dynasty warriors, or X blades or blades of time over god of war.
I would rather play saints row 3 over Grand theft auto.
I find the uncharted games extremely boring to play ect.
there is no shame in not liking a game just because most others do.
I would but the vita store is such garbage that unless it's something I desperately want I am just not going to use it anymore, beyond that I can't even get on the store right now it keeps giving me a (NP-8098-5) error I suppose I could just reboot the vita and likely fix that... and try to get the toro app... but if I click the toro app and it fails to download which seems to happen like 95% of the time anymore on the vita... I'm likely to throw my vita very hard against the nearest wall likely breaking one or both of the wall or my vita.

Agreed for the most part. PW is a lot more fun with friends.
You can toy with the AI in crazy ways like using that invisbeam on your partner while he runs around and CQCs guards.
Or grabbing someone while your partner beats him up.
It also makes bosses less of a pain to slog through.
