They also said FFXI on Vita was probably gonna happen IIRC. Furthermore I'm not sure anyone wants more FFXIV after the mess that was the original release. We'll see how Realm Reborn is received, but I know that unless they change the model to F2P, I don't want it regardless.

Hope so, Respawn's core is the team that made COD4, still the best COD game followed closely by MW2, also maybe by Respawn's core team. It would suck if their game never comes to PS4.

Actually speaking of COD4 and MW2, I wish Activision would port those to Vita instead of giving us another Declassified or shunning the platform. Easy money, I would buy both.

A lot of the article has to do with Respawn's origins, actually.

So here's the exclusivity mention: They thought working on PS4, Xbox One and PC would prove too difficult for a small team, so they decided to focus on one console instead of two. (er...). "Not to say we won't [go multiplatform] in the future, but for our first game we wanted to focus on making the best game we could."

GI points how that the Xbox One has 5GB of GDDR3 ram available to devs, whereas PS4 has 8GB DDR5 ram, and asks if that's a problem for Respawn. He says they're having trouble even using the 5GB efficiently with all the new architecture tricks. (that is to say, even if they had 8GB they wouldn't know how to use it properly at this stage of development)

GI: "What XBox One lacks in RAM, it potentially makes up for in cloud computing." Talks about how the game will have unlimited dedicated servers for the game, offloading "a few dozen AI" and physics, says the game would be impossible without the cloud and wouldn't have attempted it. Still dealing with unfinished hardware and software, so it's "still a little rough going at times."

Watching PS4 conference is kind of pointless. Who the frack wants to buy the weaker of the two hardware anyway? It ain't the next gen's water cooler and it's certainly not got the power of the cloud.

What a shit hardware.

On a more serious note, imagine if the reason given by the third parties for Xbone exclusivity is "Cloud", then I am sure the general public will drink that kool aid completely

People who owned a 360 and just want to buy the next xbox. I still think none of this really, really horrible crap is going to effect them, at least not in the long run.

THis is exactly why I do not need to buy an Xbox one. Any temptations they may have are available for pc. Last summer I got most of the games I always wanted to play on the Steam Summer Sale for about 20 bucks. (Alan Wake, Fable 3, Super Meat Boy, Metro)

I buy a Ps4 knowing that this is the only plavce I can play thee games. (Except on my Vita

Heh, it never was exclusive. They were asked about it being on other platforms after the PS Meeting and they said that they were only talking about it on PS platforms right now. Which immediately confirmed that it'd be on at least the 360 and Xbox One.

Anyway, going by Andrew Reiner's twitter comment, it seems like the TitanFall cover story was supposed to be posted next week after E3. So, that definitely spoiled a big announcement. But, it's still a big announcement which means that the first big third party exclusive (well, sorta) went to MS. Balls in your court, Sony.

Yeah, Diablo was never exclusive.
On Titan... yes that GI issue wasn't supposed to go out until Tuesday...
 
conspiracy theory: MS wanted titanfall and diablo 3 leaked and/or stealth announced to combat Sony's Planetside 2, DCUO, and Warframe announcements yesterday >_>

It's weird. I was excited for like a day, but the malaise has set back in full-stop and I just can't honestly see Sony announcing anything I'm going to care about on Monday.

Even the Versus hype has faded and I'm back to thinking it won't show up at e3 while Square announces something shitty like Agni's Philosophy: The Game.

A little part of me just wants everything to leak so I can decide once and for all whether to care about the PS4.
