They say that every single time, also displayed can mean "showing off" which could mean trailers, which could mean anything, they aren't going to focus only on games with demos.

Here's another example, the 3DS Conference in 2011 was "focused only on 3DS with small Wii news" yet half the conference was about Wii.

Iwata: We will debut the new project from Retro Studios at NEXT year's E3 so please look for that in the very distant future.

The actual game idea is fine, it's just a quintessential dumbass Nintendo fanboy rumour. They crop up every now and then. It's insecure Nintendo fan rumour mongering to a T.

Kind of like that stupid Ichi the Killer rumour from a few years back, equally unconvincing and stupid.
