GiantBomb end their video by predicting that Sony's policy will basically be a copy and paste of what MS is doing.
unless if they have changed something Sony wont require the 24hr check in stuff.

Verendus is all over the map. He's both made and killed my hype, sometimes within the same post.
So who will put their money where their mouth is and cross Destiny, Watch Dogs and Battlefield 4 off their list?

Installs are mandatory since the blu ray drive is too slow to keep up with the data that has to be loaded.
all this drm non sense has killed my hype for e3 and ps4..... and i don't even buy used games!! WTFF?

They've said it a few times, mostly in the Edge cover story. The installs are seamless, just a brief initial install then it finishes while you play, but all data is loaded to the HDD.Where are you getting this from?

there's always Wii U.
but Verendus said MGSV is coming to PS4!!! u are full of it
people are saying that because he's been talking about finishing his new mgsv trailer on twitter yet didn't show it at the konami conference, which is the perfect place unless he has somewhere with more exposure like a platform conference
unless you're suggesting he's going to be in the nintendo direct
there's always Wii U.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAI have a Wii U and it's the least exciting thing in my life right now, other than my sex life of course.

Are you sure you're not thinking of their download system? That sounds exactly like how PS4's background downloading system is going to work.
I don't remember anything talking about mandatory installs anywhere for the PS4.
Verendus surely says a lot of things![]()
My comment was about Kojima himself, he might not be in either of the conferences.
During E3 2006 Sony showed the first 'real' MGS4 trailer in their conference, it was their biggest third party exclusive and Kojima wasn't there.
What if MGSV at this point is just a PS3/360 game, they don't have next gen announcements to make and a short version of the trailer is showcased in a montage during both conferences and that's it?
Then they'll release a long version by themselves on tuesday.
Ether.Bro listen, you were hyping the Ninja Theory reveal a day before they unveiled a free 2 play iOS title. As far as I am concerned, you have zero credibility.

you know, I was thinking that when Shuhei made the Joke about DRM (death ray manta) coming to Vita, maybe he was trying to break the bad news in a lighthearted way....now that we have Microsofts policy I wonder how long its going to be before we get Sonys.
In this case, they need to take microsofts lead and get it out there before E3.

I'm noticing a pattern with these "insiders"![]()
The sad thing is that this E3 should be the most hyped thing ever, yet look at what's going on. Fear instead of excitement because publishers are being greedy instead of looking at what they're doing.

What he wrote actually makes sense. If the engine isn't ready for next gen, then how can MGV be released for PS4?
Verendus might be bullshitting
Said who? How about the 40gb games that didn't need an installation?
For anything's sake stop spreading rumours and fake info!
Mark Cerny said:However, PlayGo "is two separate linked systems," Cerny said. The other is to do with the Blu-ray drive -- to help with the fact that it is, essentially, a bit slow for next-gen games.
"So, what we do as the game accesses the Blu-ray disc, is we take any data that was accessed and we put it on the hard drive. And if then if there is idle time, we go ahead and copy the remaining data to the hard drive. And what that means is after an hour or two, the game is on the hard drive, and you have access, you have dramatically quicker loading... And you have the ability to do some truly high-speed streaming."
To further help the Blu-ray along, the system also has a unit to support zlib decompression -- so developers can confidently compress all of their game data and know the system will decode it on the fly. "As a minimum, our vision is that our games are zlib compressed on media," said Cerny.
Yeah, but this may change my plans of buying both consoles. I guess I'll stick with one now.I'm still super hyped.

Anyway, my brother traded in Dead Island: Riptide today. It helped him pay off GTAV. Used games aren't so bad.
According to the "How Game Licensing Works On Xbox One" document released today by Microsoft, the console has been designed so publishers "can enable you to trade in your games at participating retailers."
Sony has (sort of) answered that question. The company said that they wont mandate DRM on used games on the PlayStation 4 like Microsoft. However, game publishers will be free to implement their own system if they chose to. And considering how game publishers have complained about used games for years, its likely that most of them will implement some sort of system that limits second-hand sales of their games.
not all "insiders" are cut from the same cloth. People seem pretty clear that CBOAT is legit, Fastmortimer has gotten some info right, but i dont know anything about Verendus, or this other guy.
E3 will reveal many things, and some wont be posting here anymore I dont think.
