Why are some people saying 2 SKUs? I don't really see it.
Ya, I don't see the need for two SKUs this round either. Unless they're going to do a crazy bundle with the Vita, but I don't see that happening.

I do think if prices are announced (which I doubt), it will be the same price or more expensive the the XBox One.

So what is everyone hoping/expecting for the Vita?

Might we finally see Capcom show some love and release a Resident Evil? What about a possible DMC release? Apart from that, what do you want to see?

All the jrpg talk from Shahid has me hopeful though I would be surprised to see that beat fruit at E3.

One with the camera and one without. Apparently Amazon is selling it separately. :/
If they sell the PS4 without a camera, than they can better scrap the entire PS4 camera project. Not a single developer is gonna do something with that camera, unless they are paid for it by Sony.
The PS4 camera needs an install base.

I hope I'm wrong, but some of you are going to be feeling very disappointed after the conference. I really hope I'm wrong; I want Sony to blow us all away.

Why's that? I think Sony hasn't really given anyone a reason to remotely feel disappointed in their conference. There is a chance they'll totally drop the ball and mess up, but I have faith, lol.

This is true for every major event/conference on GAF. Hell, the PS4 reveal was received as lukewarm, even though it looks like a godsend now after seeing what Microsoft did. It is overhyped, of course, but that's the fun of it.

I do think Sony will have a solid showing nonetheless.

Hehe, I see the Vita hate is still as strong as ever.

I get not liking it, but it's a damn fine handheld. I'm personally hoping for a ton of new games and hopefully a new RE from Capcom. Still pretty bitter than Revelations hasn't made the jump yet.

Wouldn't say not to a Demon's Souls-esque game either.

I don't hate it. I love it. It is undoubtedly the most comfortable, most advanced handheld ever.

But it failed. And to waste time on it would be a shame.

Hasn't Sony said that they aren't doing the "always-on" thing? If so, why would people be worried about DRM? If you're able to play your games without them being verified via internet connection, aren't we good to go?

I've reached the point where my fear is overshadowing my hype. What if all of the #NoDRM was for nothing? What if the price is ridiculous?

One more sleep, night time in uk now too so will be going to sleep soon and starting tomorrow morning the wait is going to be even worse, and like i have said a couple of times now the wait is already like counting down the days until christmas as a kid

Not long now though, looking forward to this so much

I can't believe we hit a thread 2 for an E3 hype conference.

Also, if you like video games ignore Gies. Dude's a complete idiot and a tool.

If Sony does have DRM, I expect them not to mention it at all. Haha.

Yep. If the entire conference passes with no mention, I'll take that as confirmation that it is doing anti-used.

JRPG? I could get behind that.

Ah, apologies.

Yeah, it's an amazing handheld and while I agree that it hasn't been the most successful, I really do believe it's still too early to call it a complete failure or attempt to move on from it. All it needs is a price cut on the hardware as well as the memory cards along with perhaps a SKU that offers a memory card packed in.

Not always online =/= Requiring intermittent internet and other consumer hating features

But didn't they say you wouldn't need an internet connection to play games? Without some internet connection requirement, they won't be able to enforce DRM anyway, right?

If Sony does have DRM, I expect them not to mention it at all. Haha.

I expect them to take it head on, actually. I have no doubt that Sony's DRM is not as ludicrous as the other guy. And I expect them to pull it out and lay it on the table.

Undoubtedly, Sony have been taking notes since May 21st on "how not to do what they did"

If #PS4NoDRM wasn't ANY measure of success, I fear for this industry.

It'd be depressing for Sony to waste all the good will and such if they went with DRM. They could dominate this gen if they simply show some games and that they aren't planning to screw over their customers.
