Well they did change the design but I am not aware of some focus group being involved.

None of the above. Versus could be coming out later this year if it's still PS3, but if it's a PS4 game I'm banking on spring 2014 just like XIII and XIII-2 were.
TLG...I doubt that as well. If any of Sony's surprise games are going to be launch titles, it'll be the ones from their Western studios. It just feels like those guys have had PS4 hardware longer than anyone else.

Damn that's still impressive as heck even after all this time. Let alone the rest of that trailer.
The suit jacket's probably the weakest part being so smooth and even that's probably improved since then too since this was probably before that clothes maker got involved.
None of the potential megatons will make launch, probably Spring at the earlier for Versus or TLG. Obviously though, there are still launch games to be revealed.

Uncharted 4 trailer. Say what you want about franchise fatigue, it's the biggest bullet in Sony's gun and guaranteed to amaze on a visual/presentation level.

Launch details. In an ideal world, they'd drop all the megatons during the main part of the conference to give them room to breathe and and make them not feel hastily thrown together.
"One more thing" reveals only work if it's something so shocking that it completely changes the direction of the press conference. I don't think there are any announcements that can do that anymore, since almost every single publisher out there has gone multiplatform.
I suppose if Sony snagged an exclusive new franchise from Epic Games, Blizzard or Valve, that might merit a "one more thing...", though.

I'd have to go back at look at the earliest teasers but I don't think so, if anything it got a graphical boost even in just the CG (and the decently long segments of gameplay looked impressive graphically). Check out the part with Noctis in the expensive car and all the extra touches they added to the level of CG.
