I don't think the DS is in there at all. It's the PS4 lying on it's back. Look at the comparison, makes sense to me

I don't know why anyone things it's lying down when you can see by the way the cloth hangs on the sides that it's clearly not. Not that it means much, we don't even know that picture is anything to do with the physical box, it could just be a teaser. It's CG anyway.

You could possibly buy SONY stocks if you want a little profit margin unless the investors' expectations are something totally unachievable. It will possibly go up during after market trading hours today and for a possible short outburst tomorrow as well.

I have a huge SONY bias and this is why i refrain from all MS threads. It is great to see SONY reclaiming the crown and decimating competition before it has even begun

Looks more like a rectangular shape to me. I really doubt the vent is going to stick out like that, it makes no sense for something that's supposed to cool the system.

I am teaching a professional development conference for teachers called "Podcasting Made Easy" this morning, and helping with a conference about "Creating Professional Videos in the Classroom" in the afternoon.


I will be done at 4pm. I am going to miss the MS conference, but I will be here for all her glory for the PS4 conference.

I'm holding out hope that almost all of that teaser was trolling. I can't see a way that those individual components make a pretty console. I don't want to see any curves in fact!

I'm sitting here now with a bit over a day to go until my moment of truth/Gaf judgement day arrives. When someone is in my spot, you'd expect them to say they're scared shitless and nervous. Oddly enough, I'm not either one of those. I am calm, and confident in what I wrote. I'm still standing by everything completely and expect Tuesday to be redemption day for me.

I could elaborate completely on everything and leave everyone stunned. But, E3 for so many here is about surprises and I'm choosing to respect that. I could tell you the full titles for both 3D Mario and Smash 4 right now. But again you've all waited all year, and more patiently than in years past at that. You guys deserve seeing the titles of those games for yourselves, and the first trailers/footage of the games together as the reward for the wait and (mostly) patience. Ill say confidently here this is the E3 everyone's waited so long for. I could also detail and elaborate on both MS and Sony's pressers, but I won't, again because of the wonder of surprise. Without being super exact...brace yourselves really damn friggin hard for MS's presser in the morning and NO MATTER WHAT happens stand together as gamers that love their hobby. Stand up as a group and fight tor what you believe in and tell Microsoft NO. Sony's will be the stuff dreams are made of and after that presser is done, Microsoft will be totally irrelevant. Late tomorrow night will be an extremely jubilant party here after Sony. That's all I can say without turning up my hot seat I'm in even more.

This whole way through, I have been consistent and have not flip flopped on what I've said. I have been kind and respectful to all who PM'd me and I answered every last person who took time to write me.

During my time here on Gaf, I have used my account mostly appropriately and for the most part have treated most everyone here with respect. I understand what's at stake, and I'm definitely not trying to suicide or throw away my account. These Gaf accounts are hard to get!!

Finally, despite my personal love/hate relationship for this forum, it's been mostly love-a dynamic community with all kinds of opinions and ideas that I've not seen in very many places. That's what makes this place so great. Tuesday will speak for itself, Ill be okay. If any of my 500 plus posts have ever offended anyone, I sincerely apologize for that-that was never my intent.

I hope he's right... I truly do. The lack of substantial leaks is making me a bit nervous though.

Back in 2006 I totally believed the PS3 was the only system I needed to have. but knowing the PS4 is right around the corner. I just wish time would go by faster so I could own one and get on board already.

I just hope we get to see a glimpse of a platform that is stronger than it ever was. Which its always been for its fans. Reading news reports of their financial troubles was probably the worst. But I hope that doesn't repeat itself. And that Sony does an excellent job.
