Is anyone else bummed about The Witcher 3 being in the Xbone event instead of the Sony event? Being with the super-draconian DRM people seems odd considering their DRM stance.

I'm basically confused by it more than anything. It feels very weird with Red/GOG being so openly anti-DRM.

Good! It's embarrassing that Sony's announcements would be leaked. Don't get me wrong, I'd still like to know before hand, but from a business perspective it was just embarrassing for them, so I'm glad any business can tackle their issues.

nope, i hope microsoft gave CDPR a ton of money for showing up too. it will release on both platforms, and of course its likely we'll see a stellar PC version.

Well on the DRM he thinks that Sony aren't going to address it at E3 but at Gamescom where used games and free online are much more important.

What he wants to see is them say on stage that "if the disc is in the drive the game will function with all offline modes" and he is our main analyst for gaming. He thinks that is the most likely solution for them. All SP/offline modes for a game will work as long as the disc is in the drive, basically the same as PS3, but they may have to relent on the online pass price cap.
