Kojima turns up at MS' E3 to announce Rising. Everyone thinks its exclusive. Turns out to be multiplat.
Kojima then goes straight to Sony's E3 to show off Peace Walker exclusively for PSP.

Square Enix (including Nomura) are attending E3.
Nomura said he's here for both KH 1.5 and to reveal information that he thinks everybody knows already.
Sony have a press conference.

After the MS briefing I would say Sony has already lost most of the hype. They will seriously have to give the best briefing they have ever given later today.
Anything short of Last Guardian and FF vXIII and I will be really disappointed.
They did if you like shooters I guess.

Umm, it was better than the reveal. That was easy to do. The games were expected. Sony has E3 to lose. Though I expect Nintendo to come out strong
You're right, I am so hyped about paying £425 for a console with DRM, daily online checks and extra to even play online. HYPED.

... I was going to point-out the same thing... how many Xbone games showed guns?.. I'm not going back to count them myself, but if the first reveal was TVTVTVTVTVTVTV, this conference was definitely GUNSGUNSGUNSCARSGUNSFANTASYGUNSGUNS... dunno, it felt that way..
The only problem is the vast majority of people who buy consoles love shooters, which will make the Xbone the best selling console again. That means less support for the PS4 if it has a smaller userbase and maybe even down the road a monopoly for MS, should Sony quit the console business which would give them the power to be even more anti-consumer. That's my nightmare scenario.

I will say that I'm surprised at how much I like the look of Dead Rising 3.

LOL, yeah people are lining up to pay $500 to become video game nielsons, give up their rights to rent or resell games, for a couple of tired exclusives that lost most of their appeal years ago.
Sony is running scared for sure.

Jomjom, i think you're exaggerating. Sorry. Yes MS had games at their conference, some which are also on PS4, but it was nothing to decide the console war.

I really don't get what all the excitement is about I guess. Ok, so they showed MGS: PP, no mention it's an exclusive. Ryse: Son of Rome, Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break look interesting enough, but they weren't enough to sell me on an XBone. Not interested in Killer Instinct or the indie games. Then, it was sequel heaven (or hell) with a bunch of game sequels we've all seen or heard of before. The game DVR feature is neat, but nothing at all really wowed me during the MS presentation, sadly.

I hope that PS4 price rumour is wrong, I'm not buying a 599 console, no way.
I'll be disappointed if its £350 and not out in the UK until 3 months after the US. Or if it's got bad DRM. But it being over £350 won't disappoint me at all. I WANT one, but I have so much else to play that £350 is my limit.
