I'm guessing Wii Fit Trainer (omg yes) is obviously U exclusive along with the Male Villager (no 3DS screens). Maybe that means there will be a Female Villager for the 3DS version.
I hope everyone transfers over to one game if you buy both, but I like the roster ideas of splitting up characters with more console or handheld prominence judging on stage exclusives.

Why I said in my book, I think they show there's little left in the stable to pull from in terms of series to represent.

Everytime I see the Wii Fit Trainer I get excited. I don't want to leave G&W, but I might have to at least have her as an alternate main.

God, I hope that rumor about the 3 additional characters isn't true.
Not because I dislike the characters, but because it means that either they're blowing through most of the newcomers right off the bat, or there's going to be a *lot* of characters from Brawl not coming back... (That based on what Sakurai has said about not expanding the roster number all that much) :-(

No reason they won't spend a bunch of time announcing returning characters. Every character's gotta have their day.
I am not sure if they will reveal Pac-Man so close ... it had almost a year of diference between snake and sonic reveals
They are focusing more on the WiiU version ... but you can see bits of gameplay in the reveal video and screens in the smash dojo page for most characters

How can somebody believe this? Seriously. No respect for the old franchises, smh man. Without these two we wouldn't even have Nintendo today.
That is because Sonic was a late addition. That had nothing to do with the fact that they are both third-party characters.
I love this meme so much. I can't imagine what Sakurai and Reggie are making of it right now.

Everything on the 3DS seems oddly overexposed and oversaturated. It was the same with OoT 3DS and it looks like it here.
You can tell they were going for the sketchy stroke around the characters but it's really just a uniform black stroke at ~60% opacity.
It works for the 3DS, though.
ROB was always meh but Mr. Game & Watch is godly.
