1. He's a harmless, previously even considered unfit for being "too peaceful" little villager.
2. He had a a creepy expression when he got introduced.
3. During most of his attacks (which include strangely morbid things like using an axe or throwing bowling balls on people's heads) he has an oblivious smile on his face.
People translated this combination of factoids into this particular villager being a homicidal psychopath.

Pallet Town needs to be a theme in the game. I've said it before and ill say it again the music that shouldn't fit at all ends up working really well for fighting.
Red will be Casuals Champion until he gets eight badges or bust!

Not keen on Vs. Hugh or Vs. Colress. Don't rate either of them. Vs. Lance/Red is awesome, yes, and Vs. Ghetsis is a very good shout, a definite choice to consider. How about Vs. Deoxys? Definitely an under-rated gem in the series.

Those arguing that a character has no chance because he/she was in a game from aeons ago... Remember this guy?
Not including Mario Kart DS and handful of cameos in other games, prior to Brawl R.O.B. only starred in two "games" aaaaaaaaaaall the way back in 1985. Where he was nothing more than a gimmick to attract the attention of consumers to buy the NES.
I hope Isaac is in though. Golden Sun needs some kind of lucky break after Dark Dawn.
He "saved" the console industry in the US. He needs to continue being in smash becuase he is an important part of history.
He only needs a better moveset like how Mr Game and Watch was buffed up from Melee to Brawl.

Ah, yeah, if we're including non-mainline games, Stadium's Vs. Mewtwo is incredible. Stadium 2 has this rendition of Vs. Champion, which is incredible and adds such a huge amount of menace to the theme. best rendition of it, in my opinion. Can't leave out Miror B, either.
Plus, he'd be great pals with the Wii Balance Board that appears on WFT's stage.
Vs. Red must be a song this time, there is no doubt.
I actually really like the idea of costumes, as long as they're not just dumb accessories that make the characters look goofy like in some games. Stuff like turning Olimar into Louie, or Pikachu into Toy Pikachu from Pokemon Rumble, or giving Kirby his yarn form would be cool changes that represent more of each series' history and background without having to add all new characters.

This was the best design idea Rare had on the DK days apart fro DK, Diddy and Dixie (and Cranky). Its a hundred times more charismatic than the tikis or the the vikings retro did
