Jade Raymond's Assassin's Creed: Teaser trailer

I heard that this game went through the ringer a little bit.

I don't know the whole story, but I heard after the delay they brought in the GRAW producer to get this thing finished. I don't know if Jade got pulled or what.

Still hot. And the title has "ass" in it - twice.

I would be surprised if it wasn't for the fact that the team doing Assassin's Creed was the team behind Sands of Time. I loved SoT to death, and they've had more money and more time to devote to AC. So in my opinion its only reasonable to expect great things from this game, and it looks to me like they're going to pull it off.

I wasn't impressed by that trailer at all. It was full of really cliche imagery (walking in slo mo, kneeling under a religious symbol(daredevil, baman, spawn, crow, etc), walking in slow mo into a flock of birds as they fly away in slo mo). The gameplay didn't look like anything special either. Flame me.
 
i used to work for them.
i never worked under Jade and i am thankful for that.

i have that all too rare insider's knoledge of how things work in the house sam fisher built, and thats why i dont like them very much. i dont like Jade very much either.

i had a nervous breakdown (happens more than you think, especialy at ubisoft) towards the end of my project, open season, and was fired a week later to the day.

oh the things i could tell you.
but wont.

pretty much everytime ex-ubi designers meet, they share breakdown stories of how all the ubi-bullshit and nonsense eventualy crushed their souls.


ubisoft montreal is hemoraging right now.
losing a LOT of people to all the other montreal studios.
more so now that eidos is in town.

I interpreted as the Third Book of Moses: Leviticus. The one where there's all the rules you have to follow or you're put to death. Jaffe wants to hop bodies before the reckoning comes and punishes him for laying with beasts or something.

if you want to give a single person credit for this game, and that is always foolish, especially on a team as big as assassins's, it would be Patrice Desilet, the creative director. his previous project was PoP: sands of time.

and he's a ****ing wanker.

Guy at the desk next to me used to work there and from what he says that place is like a sweat shop. Long hours, low pay and the studio going out of their way to screw employees. Phil, can you confirm?
