Nah, we don't hate Italy. Japan's showcasing and oustanding football tonight. And we're loving it. What a nice surprise!

But Italy is Italy... they'll probably win the game.

Commentators said the largest ex-pat group of Japs are in Brasil, something like 1.5 mil.

And that's that, good night Mexico.

I only was able to catch the game from Balotelli's penalty onward....but holy shit, when did the Japanese get so good? They looked fucking sharp out there.

I believe he has refused to renew his CSKA contract so he's a free agent this summer.

His contract with CSKA ends in December( a relic from the days when the Russian League was on a March-December schedule).

Honda deserves to play in a bigger league.
I hate this attitude in general. In this specific case it's even more bullshit, it's not as if Honda is head and shoulders above the other players in Russia. He's not even the best attacking midfielder at CSKA.

He is usually a lot better than the rest of the national team. If Kagawa can play for Dortmond / ManU, Honda can do better than CSKA.

Double figures for Spain v Tahiti?

Lineker haha "We're due a decent contest"....

Spain already beat Uruguay so I don't think they will try too hard against them. Uruguay on the other hand, might have to compete with Nigeria on goal difference. I think we will see the most goals in the Uruguay vs Tahiti game.

I dont see why Spain would send out any of their A team. Would be reckless to do so.

I didn't realize that all but one player from Tahiti are not professionals. Even more impressive that they made it to Brazil.

The wage of every single player in the Spain team most likely far exceeds what the entire Tahiti team earns.
