Where the entrant numbers for each game posted somewhere? I can only find the pools page, which would mean lots of clicks for each time slot to check how many people are in it, which in turn isn't very practical...
As for a final smash for Mega Man, if Sakurai borrowed the MvC uppercut, maybe he might borrow the giant mode from that game as well (as far as I know it's not used in actual MM games)?

I would be fine with one new character reveal at the end of each direct, like others on here have suggested, as long as they don't blow their load. They should also put returning characters in those "New Challenger Approaching" trailers, there is no need to hide Marth, Ness, Luigi, Yoshi, Captain Falcon, etc. from us. Keep some of the real surprises secret and let us see Jigglypuff and Ganondorf in high def.

She's also referred to as "the hunter" by space pirates, at least in the Prime games. I'd say it fits quite well, actually.

Imo, the characters are the main draw to the game so having it end up with 3 semi-generic characters as half the new cast would be a total waste.

I would actually be okay with it.
I'm really more interested in moveset changes like with Pit. For example, I'm hoping Luigi uses his vacuum this time around.
But, I would definitely be sad about the lack of Nook and Mewtwo

Same here. I would pay any amount for CHARACTERS DLC. It's smart move to add characters dlc after they went gold since they usually leave characters out due to time constrains. This time they actually can finish those characters and add it to DLC.

Just thought I'd chime in on the discussion about Mega Man's Final Smash.
Most of the obvious possibilities have been discussed, and I'd be fine with almost any of them, but personally I'm hoping for a Super Mega Man transformation from Mega Man 7, where he fuses with Rush and flies around the screen owning shit up with homing rocket punches. That would be awesome.
The only thing his Final Smash definitely WON'T be will be him transforming into X, and thank god for that. Don't get me wrong, I fucking adore X, but Mega Man and X are unequivocally not the same robot, and Sakurai is nothing if not super dedicated to getting everything about a character totally right, right down to their tiniest canonical details (and him not being X is a pretty huge detail). I mean hell, most Mega Man fans don't even know about the whole "Mega Man doesn't use a Mega Buster on both hands at once because it causes him to overheat" thing, and Sakurai even nailed *that*.
So yeah. Hoping for a Super Mega Man transformation, but I'll take Astro Crush, Tornado Blow, Lightning Bolt, etc.
I'll also echo some other people in this thread and say that I hope one of his as-yet unrevealed moves (like up air) is from Mega Man 9 or 10. Sakurai already did a lot of good by not just taking all the weapons from 2 and 3 and actually pulling weapons from some of the more under-appreciated games and lesser-known bosses in the series (MM6/Flame Blast, MM7/Slash Claw, MM8/Flame Sword), but it'd be disappointing and a little odd for him to completely ignore 9 and 10. I suppose it's still possible that his up air is Tornado Blow, though it looks more like Wind Storm or Air Shooter.
Now that I think about it, it would've been really cool to get a weapon from Mega Man V/Rockman World 5, or one of the Mega Man Killer weapons. Hey, maybe his FInal Smash is Saturn's Black Hole!

I actually see it as a bit of a frown on Mega Man's face. He's beginning to suspect the Villager is more that the happy-go-lucky gardener he appears to be. WFT, however, is concerned about Mega Man. She think's he's taking this all far too seriously. Surely that little boy is harmelss, right?

MegaMan's stare is simply devoid of any emotion. Villager's looks like he wants to hold you in the basement, flay you alive, make you eat your own skin and drink your own blood all while chilling wearing sunglasses and holding piña colada.
Smash Bros 3DS and Wii U are not different versions, they are different games.
