Obesity is a huge issue, and if this news causes just one fan to lose weight and lead a healthy lifestyle then his death won't be in vain. It's not like he said he deserved it. There had to have been a delay. Look at Gerstmann's twitter. Nothing mentioned in the days following. He just tweeted about it for the first time moments ago. I wonder what the circumstances were and why the GB crew did not know for so long given that they are all such good friends.

They probably knew right away, but decided to wait to deliver the message once everyone knew and they were ready to go public.
