"OH GIVE ME MORE PREDICTIONS YOU GENIUS" comments when just making an observation on what i see as the future

as i said before, this is a discussion forum

This is a private discussion forum, maintained by a person who said that he strongly advises you the complete opposite of what you're stating. But yeah okay, you had a point, up till you started typing.
 
My sincerest condolences to him, his wife, friends, and family. Thank you for the great memories and laughs. You will be missed.
 
Do we know what happened? That's pretty fucked up. I'm also pretty sure it's a heart disease, but you never know.

I have sleep apnea and use a C-Pap...

That probably wasn't related to his death, but his was probably more severe than mine if he used the one that had actual oxygen in it.
 
I can't imagine how any of his friends or family, or his wife are feeling and have been feeling for the past few days.

But I've been sitting here for two hours now unable to focus on work. It must be visible on my face because multiple people have asked what's wrong. And it's a hard question to deal with.

I just heard about a death. No, it wasn't family, or a close relation. It was...this guy. He was a larger than life personality and brightened my day at least once a week. He often made a rough day at a job I don't like that much better by making me smile and laugh. No, not a comedian, not per se. He was just a funny guy you like to have around.

A friend died. And it's hard to deal with.

RIP Ryan Davis. Without you and Jeff, Giant Bomb would probably have never existed in the first place. Thank you for being so utterly sincere and genuine. My most positive of thoughts are with his friends, family, and anyone who he left a lasting impression on.
 
I'm physically sick because I was thinking last night, in my typical apathetic self but with a boost of self-delusioned confidence, that I should listen to Giant Bomb more and try and get back into coding games (using them as inspiration).

RIP Ryan, what a loss. :(
 
I met Ryan at a party once a few years ago, and he was just a really nice fun loving guy. This really fucking sucks to hear ;(

May he rest in peace, and may his wife find some comfort in the fact that they got married before he passed away. I wish her the best of wishes and lot's of strength.

What the fuck man, 34. Just married. Dead. That's just plain evil.
 
Any time someone dies, especially when they are so young, it is hard for loved ones and friends to cope. I didn't know him or his work, but hearing from friends of mine who did has hammered home how much of a loss this is for the gaming community. My condolences to all who knew him.

As for Giant Bomb, I fully support whatever they do. I hope they can recover from this and continue to do work. They are a key part of a very small chorus that helps people like me follow and keep up with this ever changing business. I hope one man's passing doesn't extinguish the efforts he made to make Giant Bomb so loved.

Absolute tragedy this happened so closely after his wedding. My condolences go out to his wife, family and the whole GB crew, because I know those guys are not just co-workers but they are also friends. The Giant Bombcast is not going to be the same without him

Wow this is exactly how I feel, it's weird to think a persons death that I never even knew personally could have such an effect on me but yeah it does

How horrible, and he even just got married, what should have been a new beginning for him, turned out to be his end.

Really reminds one, just how mortal we really are. People took him for granted, just like we take everyone for granted

I just played some Chrono Trigger, watch RAW and was away from GAF and the internet, i could not believe i saw this topic, i thought it was some sick joke, I am so sad right now

Not going to lie and say I loved him, but I been watching him for years now and I can't imagine GB without him. Hope they can bounce back from this.

I don't know how he died, but if weight related hopefully alarms go off for Jeff. And also Brad who has really put on the pounds in recent years.
