Basically, yeah. If they weren't paid then they can easily adjust the floor plan to accommodate pool play for another game. They haven't set it up yet so they can make changes. So any reason they throw out holds no water at all.

If the hall is only big enough for two games, then, ok, I can buy that, but Injustice is on Saturday, and MK9 is the game with the lowest attendance. Why the hell does MK get the hall all to itself then?

...As a P4 player I'm still salty regardless of there being a good reason or not anyways.

That is my main question. Splitting the Friday hall 2 day between say P4A and MK9 seems to make a lot of sense, even if you don't stream every pool match.

There may be a great reason, but I can't really see it.

Supposedly the exhibitors are in the second hall with the NRS games but that still doesn't explain why MK9 is all day and why you can't run another game alongside it so it can be streamed for folks.

Yep, even then they only explained why MK9 was held on the Friday, to not clash with Injustice, which makes sense.

That doesn't explain why it is actually being officially streamed over games with a higher representation besides "lots of interest"...
 
Only thing I don't like about Salty Bet is how you're never broke if you buy an illuminati account or whatever. Shit is dumb. Otherwise, he ripped off Bipson Bank yeah, but he made it like 100x better so whatever. That's just how these things work.

That's exactly why it's not 100x better and 100x worse. Way to fuck up the economy and potentially make bets trivial down the line when people can smudge odds so easily.

Recouping server costs, yeah yeah, but still, that's ultra dumb and why Bipson Bank was better, though perhaps not sustainable.
 
I'm about to put up the EVO thread. Do not post until I take up the first two posts. Its about 98% complete so I just need to add a few others things before it is fully complete.

It runs smooth @720p with 3d backgrounds on an Intel 4000 + i7 ulv. The engine scales pretty well. It only starts to lag on the boss battle. Ravidrath from Lab0 also announced that they'll do a high res pack that'll include native 1080p sprites for people with beefier machines.

No, but Doom is the most played character in the game and there's ALWAYS awesome new tech. Most hype thing that happened at Curleh West this past weekend was Miniboss using missiles to OTG into lazers and sphere flame.
