Just got an Xbox 360, what should i play?

Ok GAF, i just got a 360 from my pal and i would like a list of essential games for the 360. Mostly console games, not the ones that can be played on the PC. I've got: Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo CE, Black Ops, Fifa 12, Mortl Kombat, Fallout 3 GOTY. I know i HAVE TO play RDR (i got the onsole for it), but what are the other games? I love SC, should i get IV or V? I like obscure games. Very obscure.

Assuming you have some of the first party games on PC (Alan Wake, Mass Effect, etc) you should get some of the games Rare put out (Kameo,Banjo,Viva Piñata), Shadow Complex, PGR. You've got a pretty good list there already.

Edit: Forgot Crackdown. Play the first one.
 
This thread is going fast. Thanks for your contributions, will check them all. I will deffinetly play Bayonetta (get ready for the second one), will surely pass on Sanic. I don't want to destroy my feelings toward the character :(

I really enjoyed Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. Zone of the Enders HD collection is another good one if you don't plan on ever getting a PS3.
 
The lack of State of Decay in this threads is deadly. If you had any brains you'd download State of Decay before rigor mortus sets in.

If you don't also have a ps3 I could help with a console exclusive list of games to play, if you'd like?

Lollipop Chainsaw is fantastic if you can handle how silly it is. I really liked it, but its not like the gameplay is amazing. It just really comes together with music and theme and...sparkles.

I haven't started SOTD yet.
 
Vesperia and Lost Odyssey

The other games I'd recommend haven't aged well or the community is dead.

Injustice: Gods Among Us (rumored to be coming to PC later this year)

Project Gotham Racing 4
Forza 4
Gears of War 2/3 (Gears 1 is on the PC, 2/3 are not)
Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2

Soul Calibur 5 is pretty damn good, though get 4 if you can find it for under $5-10. Soul Calibur 1 is already on XBLA and Soul Calibur 2 is coming to 360 this fall in HD and with online play!

Those are all not only on PC (which the OP specified), but are better served played on such.

For the love of [whatever deity] do not try KOTOR on Xbox. It's a technical nightmare. So are ME1 & 2 (to a lesser extent).

Forgot to say - no online games. I just don't play online that much (and surely will not pay extra for it). Soul alibur 2 HD? Sold.

SC4 and V arent that good - get SC1 HD via xbla instead, or sc2 since its BC supported.

And maybe Gears of War. Haven't played it, don't plan to, but a lot of people like it.

I liked those games when I was younger, thought they were pretty decent.

Bayonetta is great.
