i'm a huge fan of the game as well, but i think its because it's just a good game.
he tends to gravitate towards those types of games (CC, Double Dragon Neon, Scott Pilgrim, X-Men arcade)
we've beaten all of those. i'm hoping this is a step in the right direction
edit: i do see the parallel between the art style of CC and drawing little kids in. it would be foolish to think he would go for this art style more, but I'm just hoping he wants to beat up some bad guys. (we call them beatie-up-games)

Nah, not today, at least. I have to stop impulsively buying games (..until next gen), lol. Last I actually even beat was Infamous 2, which should illustrate how bad of a problem I have. I only hope that co-op doesn't dry up in this by the time I get to it.

I really want Dragon's Crown but I just can't afford it right now.
I'll be getting it later as well. I own too many games and too many I want are coming out. I'm going to wait for the first price drop, or the winter holidays. That should give me a good idea of how alive the PSvita community is.
I'm still leaning towards PS3 so I can play with my friends though. Who knows they may be done with the game by the time I get around to it.

Video streaming is actually pretty convenient. Glad it's working, I used to always hate having to grab a usb cable and wait ages just to transfer a show, ended up just watching whatever is on the TV phone app (which would also be nice on Vita). Now I can choose again

Anyone try this yet? Description seems to state the narrator/dungeon master can be changed into any of the playable character voices. Can really help liven up replay value if so.
Is also unlockable from the game using money(gold coins not dollars)

Yes. Dragon's Crown doesn't use an online pass, so you can outright import the game and play with US players with no problem.

Non DC talk - Esoteric - nice job on that 2nd lord! I'm probably more impressed by the number of vita owners that don't DC when they are losing. Still, excellent work. All my online time was nothing but DCs from scrubs. Now, we need to still match it up! I also remembered, you can use your vita as a controller for the ps3 version! That way I can use my stick!

I just updated my Vita to 2.60 this evening, though once it had downloaded and installed the update I got an error message saying some thing like "this Vita did not shut down properly the last time it was turned off" (or words to that effect).
The system update is now telling me that my firmware is up to date, but I'm just wondering what that could mean? Dd anything similar happen to any of you guys?

I started the update last night when I saw the thread on it but it was downloading really slow so I put it on the charger and went to sleep. This morning it looked as if it had rebooted but the latest firmware wasn't applied. I went to pull it down again and it shoot right up to about 70% then downloaded the rest and applied successfully.
If you go into settings > system > system information the first listing is the devices current firmware. As long as that says 2.6 I'd say you're good to go.
You can always manually power off and on again to make sure it shuts down and starts up correctly now though.

That depends entirely on if the online play is fragmented per region, which to my understanding isn't the case. Everyone plays with everyone.

I'm thinking it's not a Vita local problem, but something they did on the store servers that's the problem.
Anyone played the original Rayman 2 on Vita? I only played the first one when I was little and so I wasn't very good at it. I'll probably end up getting both since they're just $1.50.

Yeah, it's pretty incredible that they've just done nothing about it. It's frustrating enough for people who know what the problem is, but the uneducated masses might just avoid the store altogether after purchasing something and mistakenly thinking their download was voided or something.
At least it's a download bug instead of a purchase bug, so Sony still gets their money
