1 day.

I can feel it in my bones.

Not one to read spoilers, but a screencap is visual and it's from the opening. Less secretive shows reveal far more in weekly teasers & promos.

It actually would have made a perfect 5b teaser. Raises considerably more questions than it answers.

-46 hours.

I just finished my rewatch and I ended up different than beforehand. I liked Walt by the end of S5A because I was deceived that he was such a badass and at the same time I hated Skylar for reasons everyone has shared in this thread.

However, after my rewatch I've grown to hate Walt so much. Season 1 & 2 he was still like able because he still had some sense of humanity. By the end of S5A he's grown to be so detestable that I actually want him dead by the end of the next season. Skylar by the end of S5A actually becomes sympathetic because of all the shit she has to go through. I don't blame her for what she's done.

So I'll be training for my "Walt is dead" dance.

The more I rewatch Breaking Bad, the more sympathetic I grow for Skyler (and I was never a hater in the slightest) and the less sympathy I have for Walt, knowing how low he falls.

The Bacon theory seems pretty strong, though, which makes me sad. Skyler should be the one to kill Walt, though. Will always stand by that desire.

The number of different tactics Walt uses to try and manipulate Jesse into keep cooking in Say My Name is remarkable. He just keeps on adjusting his angles when something doesn't work. I was going to finish up my rewatch tonight, but I think I'll save Gliding Over All for this weekend.

I watched that ep again today, too, and yeah...he was shrewd as fuck during that last scene between them. He had an answer for everything.

Also, upon re-watch, I think that ep has my favorite desert shot.

"Salud" is definitely the best episode of season 4. Every plotline there is fantastic. Jesse making the cartel cook his bitch, Gus pulling off the most badass stunt of the series to get his revenge, Walt and Jr's conversations, and Skyler handling Ted. Pretty much perfect.

Saying bye to Gus now. So long my favorite character!

And lol at Sonic 06, just noticed that for the first time.

Was going to post the same thing after my rewatch of it early this morning/late last night, but would have amended it to "remarkably icky". Some people have said that we don't need Jesse to find out about how Jane died because they already fell apart and Jesse saw the real manipulator. I'm not sure I agree, but with how controlling and petulant Walt is in Say My Name I can see how people come to that conclusion. Jesse's seen the real Walter White.

Jane and Brock. He was gonna shoot Walt because he thought it was him. Imagine how he'll be when he finds out he lied about it.

hurly furken sheet

Although I hope Jesse makes it out relatively guilt free from now; he's fucked up loads but I don't want him to take Walt down.

I just wanna see Walt suffer, because I want to see Cranston fucking knock more shit out of the park.

Fuck that - I REALLLLLLY want Jesse to find out what scumbag Walt did (or did not do, in this case) to Jane.
It really annoyed me how this was just seemingly dropped in a heartbeat, considering it's quite a major development, ar least in the case of Jesse's story. I hope this will surface when Hank investigates further into Walt's meth distribution trade.

Both of these situations should never happen because that would feel pretty lazy and odd writing wise. Of course, context and situational stuff matters, but Walter having a random angry outburst at Jesse, admitting to letting Jane die. Or if Saul goofs up and mentions kid poisoning tactics to Jesse.

There's no evidence or proof of those actions, and in life some unknown secrets remain unknown forever.

I don't feel it's been dropped, it's just not something Jesse would want to talk about constantly. It's definitely hurt him deeply, in a way you can still observe. Hell, check Problem Dog for proof. Jesse being broken that badly is a result of Jane dying, I think.

How could he ever find out, unless Walt confesses? And why would Walt ever do that?

Saul knows about Brock. Walt might want to make peace with his demons before shooting up a fucking town and going to his death or something.

All the talk of there being no loose ends, everything tied up makes me think both these are coming out.

Jesse outrage for some various reason

Walt tells Jesse what he did to Jane and Brock.

Cue shocked/speechless Jesse

"I own you, Jesse"

Heisenberg walks away

I could totally see something like that happening with how crazy Walt has become. And with Cranston/Paul center stage, it could very well be the climax of Walt and Jesses relationship and potentially the best scene of the entire show.
