The Hanafuda cards? Yeah, you see them on eBay for like $30-40.
If you have watched the Iwata asks, you will know how much detail they put into making it. It really is neat, despite the game being fun for about 10 minutes.
I have a small yet neat G&W collection so it fits in well with them.
My kids like to play with it occasionally, and it is neat to have. They got really excited when I was playing Pikmin 2 and we found one in a cave.

No Luigi pin here and I bought the game day one digital. 
That Pikmin bag looks really nice and I have 400 points but I don't know that I would ever actually use it for anything...

$9 vs $10 seems to be the dividing point for when games are generally worth 5 coins vs 10 or 20, and on Wii U it seems that anything that's $10 is automatically 20 coins.
Ok... so I ordered the Pikmin poster set. I got a shipment confirmation email the other day from Nintendo. When I go onto their website to look for the order detail or the tracking number it says "Tracking Number Not Available" and "Status Backordered".
Did my posters ship or not???

Platinum/Gold rewards don't ship until November/December of this year.
I have never heard of them cancelling an order. If you got in while they had it on the page, then you get your item. Even hot ticket stuff like gold nunchuks.
This happened to me with the last game I added (a copy of Hotel Dusk I found for a buck). Tried twice and gave up. Came back and it was there on my to do list.
Well I wouldn't worry, I had ordered the tote bag a while ago. But due to some problems with my address (said it once and I will say it again, Nintendo's CS is amazing), they had to cancel my order and make a new one and it also appears as backordered.
It will take a while but it will be shipped.

Is the Game and Watch Collection 2 for the DS worth the 800 coins?
I like to collect DS games, but 800 coins for 3 barebone minigames seems like a lot.

if you really want to play game & watch games, it's better to pick up the Game & Watch Gallery titles from the eShop

Is it still possible to pick Gold/Plat prize? I'm unsure if I ordered my Gold prize from my secondary account, and when I log in it isn't giving me the option. Also I can't see anywhere in order history showing that I picked the calendar or anything.... Does it show anywhere if I picked one?
Depends on whether you like score-based only games. I find them very fun but there really isn't anything to it but one screen gameplay for score.

Just noticed my Pikmin totes are backordered. Bah. Looks great though.
edit: Also, did they get rid of the physical/digital survey split? I only see one Intend-to-buy for W101. A good change if so.

it was about swapnote and at the end streetpass and nintendo zone
the first time i completed it it glitched out so i had to do it again and it worked
