WHY ARENT WE GETTING ANY THIRD PARTY GAMES!?!?!?!?!

WHY ARENT WE GETTING ANY FIRST PARTY GAMES

People are always going to bitch about something, not shocked to see the usual suspects either.

Rogue Legacy, Minecraft, Starbound and the true megaton of the show; Football Manager.

I'm set.

Well, we haven't heard anything from what Bend are working on. That doesn't mean they're not working on a Vita game, though. It could just be too early to show.

Malicious Rebirth was stealth confirmed for EU after the conference was over (or at least, there was an english trailer shown.) Took long enough, but at least the wait was shorter than the PS3 version!

Minecraft?

Borderlands 2?

Hotline Miami 2?

Starbound?

Rogue Legacy?

Fuck me. Well and truly satisfied.

YESSS :D I'm happy. am I dreaming? did I truly wake up? :D
I'm saving all my monies for Vita games!

I HOPE ANY GAF VITABRO (with a 3DS) went to Gamescom set their greeting to "Buy A Vita!"

So we haven't had a big exclusive Vita game(western) announced since Tearaway.
At this point I don't believe that we will get any anymore.
Tearaway is probably going to be the last big Vita exclusive.

So. From "Console Quality Gaming on the Go" to "Indies and RemotePlay"...

I'm not happy with that. When I bought my Vita I expecte there to be a GTA, a MonsterHunter, a GranTurismo, a GodOfWar, a FinalFantasy and a MGS at some point.
Oh, and by that I mean exclusive titles out of these franchises. Not some HD Collections or ports. Except GranTurismo, a GT port is exactly what I want.

Golden Abyss was finished by November 2011. It'll be two years soon, and if they're making another Vita game it shouldn't take that long to have something to show.

There were non-indie third party games outside of Football Manager announced for Vita at Gamescom?

The thing that bugs me is that there aren't ANY first party exclusive titles for vita at E3 or Gamescom (well I think SCEJ is involved in Destiny of Spirit) ..It's just horrible

Has WWS in EU and NA given up on Vita entirely? I wish someone from Sony or an insider could answer this question. It's incredibly disheartening

Destiny of Spirits is developed by Q? Entertainment.

Still didn't see anything to sell me on this system. A bunch of indie(christ, I hate that word) isn't particularly compelling. Borderlands would have been cool if I hadn't already played to death

Gamescom was a fantastic show. Games, games, games. My only disappointment is that they didn't announce a 64GB card to hold all of it.

To the ones still fantasizing about "retail" 20 million dollar budget games on the Vita... it's time to move on. That ship has come, sunk and gone.

Welp, that was a pretty disappointing showing for Vita. Ports and indie won't help sell the Vita, and certainly not ports of indie games. Also, a lot of those ports are going to be on the PS4 as well, so.....

The price cut in memory was nice (I might even consider getting another 8gb card now), but I would have liked to see it gone down lower. $80 for 32 gb is still more than I care to pay for.

Sony really has nothing substantial in the pipeline for the Vita other than KZM and Tearaway.

I'd buy a Vita in a second if it had the Kiseki games(in english), Japan has so many awesome Vita games that need to get localized. (Kiseki, Tales, Type 0, Senran Kagura for example)

Well, Vita went from 350 to 280 for me, that's a start.

That was quite a presentation for the Vita. I felt like finally after two E3's they finally set aside a good amount of time for the Vita. Lots of good titles ahead for 2014 and that Assassins Creed portable session I am going to need that with football season around the corner.

I was happy with the conference and what I'll be getting out of the Vita this year. Terraria, Starbound, Rogue Legacy and Minecraft would have been enough to make me happy, but we got quite a few more interesting games.

Just read the liveblog, didn't go in with any expectations so I can't really be disappointed I guess. Looking forward to BL2 and Rogue Legacy since I haven't played them yet, but god knows they'll do nothing for sales.

Not into minecraft but it seems like it could potentially be big if marketed right. Apparently all the kids are playing it these days.

+They showed off Remote Play.
+They confirmed Borderlands.
+They showed that Rogue game I wanted to play.

-Memory Card size stayed the same.

Whatev's. I'm really happy. While I'm still not sold on a PS4, I'm glad this show went well for us gamers.

What was that Vita-Assassins Creed Thing they showed after the Remote Play demonstration?

Well, I am very happy that I just bought a Vita and have a huge backlog, but its really sad that PS Vita is appearently dead when it comes to big games.

And even the pricedrop on the memory cards is a joke...

Some of those indie games are nice to have on the vita, but no exclusive retail games? Really? Am I supposed to be excited for Borderlands 2? A port of a game that has been available on other systems for a long time?

I don't like to be pessimistic or say something bad about indie games, but I can't contain the disappointment for the lack of games that are not indie.

Not a bad conference for Vita. Could have been worse, but could have been better too.

The Borderlands announcement reminds me of the COD announcement - just a logo. Would have been nice to see some gameplay.
Murasaki Baby looked strange enough to get me to follow their twitter account.
Strong indie support was expected. Though, the video of indie devs talking about Vita was boring.
Remote play of AC IV looked good. When I heard Aveline's voice I was kinda hoping they would surprise announce another AC for Vita (a man can dream, right).
Kinda surprised that there was no footage and very little mention of Tearaway and KZM.
Seeing Shahid on stage reminded me that we still haven't seen a game that matches his little twitter teaser. I think that his mystery still exists, but geez, when are we gonna see it yo?
Helldiver looked cool :) Hope it looks as good on Vita.
TGS?? TGS!! All I want is Kat Daze

Vitabros it's been fun, once i complete Killzone im out for a while.

Good amount of games just not for me unfortunately, im not going to knock them for their effort but the type of games don't interest me

borderlands 2 (hmmm i'll have killzone vita for my choice of FPS thanks)

Football Manager Classic (great was looking forward to that until i found out it's a cut down version therefore not worth full price)

not interested in indies (apart from hotline miami 2 but i can ge it on a ps4)

i have 3 options

1) will put away in a box until 2015 by which time i am certain it'll have the games im looking for

2) give it to my brother to take to uni as he is keen on borderlands 2, fez and minecraft, then when he completes uni in 2 years have it back

3) sell it now/trade it in for store credit towards a PS4, then when the games come out that i want, and they may even have a system revision by 2015, get that newer model or whatever is available

Piecing together info since I forgot to watch and this GT6 stuff is taking too long :P

In order of greatness for me:

Rogue Legacy surprise > Velocity 2x confirmed > Fez confirmed > Hotline Miami 2 more confirmed > BOI: Rebirth not disappearing > Minecraft > Borderlands 2

no 64GB <<<<< :(

I'll have to see vid and screens of the listed games I don't recognize.

Another meh showing. But it was meh for PS4 too, which at least gives me hope that there is still stuff coming, and that it's just not the right time to show it yet.

Not sure how sensible this timeline is, though. The PS4 train is chugging along based on little more than console war hype and promisespromises. At the same time, Vita's window for showing the big cards (Shahid's megaton, Sony Bend's next title) is quickly narrowing.

Still, the showing utterly destroyed E3's. The games were uninteresting for the most part (still not here for the avalanche of low-budget retro garbage on my expensive, quad-core'd and OLED'd out beast), but just seeing some time devoted to the little guy was comforting.

3/10

Horrible show imho.

lack of new games and new big games ports (Borderland 2 is old news, Sony should've ported that months ago, now it5's too late) is really bad.

Well, we haven't heard anything from what Bend are working on. That doesn't mean they're not working on a Vita game, though. It could just be too early to show.

You really think Sony will let Bend work on Vita? that now no more than late ports machine and PS4 gamepad? I really doubt it, Sony seems in total panic of all the big games Xbox One is getting, they'll most likely put all their force and all SCEWWS studios behind PS4 now because of PS4 shitty lineup as of now, Bend I think switched their project to PS4 some time ago that why we didn't hear anything yet (almost two years since U:GA) because they need the extra time.

amazing conference

-remote play looked flawless

-games:
rogue legacy
binding of isaac
starbound
broken sword 5

-shitty vita posters will stop shitting up this thread

Pretty sure SCEJ is involved one way or the other. Most probably a minor role like what SSM does so frequently

Every SCE game from Japan has SCE Japan Studio's tag on it. It's kind of gross because sometimes the games are only announced with SCE Japan Studio's involvement when development is actually handled elsewhere.

Well, you certainly never accept them as first party if they're not developed by Sony owned studios...

It's not first party, but not third party. It's a second party release.

Don't count on option one, cause if they aren't going to even try now, what makes you think 2015 will be any different?

If you can get good money for it, I'd go option 3, other wise, I'd go option 2, give it to your brother to borrow, and when he comes back from uni, you can use it as a Remote Play controller for your PS4.

Were you watching the same stream that I was?

There was significant input lag when they were showing off remote play for AC4.
