you listing the teams who you are looking at to be "your team" next week?

also, you can say grossman didn't do anything to necessarily cost the team the game, but he didn't do anything to win it. when the bears needed him most he didn't showup. no, i don't put the game on grossman's shoulders, but to be a good QB in this league you need to do something to earn your keep. he has been depending on a great D and a solid run game the past couple years, and now when they need him to show up all you can say is "well at least he didn't throw 4 INT's!" yeah, good reasoning

what the fuck ever, a QB relying on great D and a solid run game, no way!!!! If he would of stepped up, you would still find a reason to hate.

anyway, we got creamed. just you guys will tomorrow :D

i think they threw beer and spit on him too. cool move by bell though!

and as i said months ago i like the lions chances in the NFC north. the question mark is their defense. i think they have a good D-line and some quality parts elsewhere, but that's the key. their offense can put up points just like they did last year.

:lol @ Raiders double-double fumble.

And Eminem: Grossman definitely lost that game for them, combined with a horrible running game. The Defense kept the 3rd or 4th best back in history to 30 yards or so, along with producing an interception, a fumble recovery, and a blocked kick...and really stifled the second best offense in the league for an entire half.

An unlucky bounce on a return and a quitting WR notwithstanding, Grossman lost the game for the bears plain and simple. When you have a team built like that, it's all about grinding it out and not turning it over...and your team can do neither without an RB or a reliable QB. Giving the ball away and forcing the defense to save your ass while spending way too much time on the field is horrendous, and a lot of the blame falls on Grossman.

But if you just meant that he didn't lose it alone, you'd be correct. Grossman just sealed the deal.

right, didn't amount to shit for the chargers. it amounted to no points despite being in scoring position for the bears.

Again, that int wasn't really his fault. It's not like he bombed it 40 yards into triple coverage.
Berrian was supposed to run a post, or at least something to the outside, which is where Grossman threw it, and instead Berrian gave up on the route.

By no means was Rex fantastic, but he certainly didn't cost the Bears this game by himself. Hell, they were still in the game and driving fine when AP coughed it up.

Yeah they gave up 14 points, but honestly, I think the Bears defense today looked better than it did last year. That is what makes it so irritating as a fan. Without a doubt the Bears have a Superbowl defense. The offense being so pathetic just makes me want to kill myself.

plenty of qb's do that, but then there are qb's who actually step up to the plate when one or both of the afforementioned units aren't performing. grossman didn't today. granted he was playing against what i would call an aggressive defense, but still.

majority of the blame should go to the horrible play calling by chicago and the fumbles.

lol @ detroit running up the score and the black hole givin' it to bell!

If you saw the replay, Berrian caused that interception more than Grossman. I don't think it would have been complete either way, but Berrian would at least have been in position to either catch the ball or break up the interception.

I need a picture of Tatum Bell standing there with the black hole all reaching for him to try to kill him. :lol that was awesome.

What a disappointing game.

Both our lines played like total utter shit.

Henderson and Stroud couldn't shed a block to save their life. Absolutely awful. PUTRID.

The offensive line couldn't block if they had 3 more people on the line. Awful.

Horrible way to open the season, and to the fucking Titans. The fucking Titans.

Only good things to come from the game:

Secondary played pretty good, corners especially.
John Broussard gave us something we haven't had in a long time, a deep threat.

That's all!:(

Actually I was hoping he would say something. I don't mind him at all, dishing IS his job now. Anything to fire up Manning.

11/13 on my picks so far :D

edit: and my fantasy team has a comfortable lead.

Tell your secondary to step up tomorrow, FMT! My opponent has Fitz.

when i say rex had a good game, i mean no costly turnovers and he did looked good, you can't say he didn't.

and to say that he lost the game plain and simple is just downright a dumb thing to say

grossman didnt actually have a bad game, that INT was on berrian

3 fumbles hurt, 2 on the rbs, and one on that punt were killer

the defense did its job, turnovers killed us

and can mike brown stay healthy?, it shouldnt be a surprise at this point that he went down, hopefully its not serious, i feel bad for the guy

:lol

For those keeping count, the guy the Giants passed on, Reggie Nelson, a safety at a position of need for us... 7 tackles, forced fumble, sack.

Let's see what Aaron Ross has.

well, the way chargers.com putting it, they make it seems like it was all grossman :lol

anyway, the chargers was the hardest game on our schedule :D :D

take that as you well.

I know it was just against the Lions and they ended up losing anyway, but Josh McCown is good. 30 of 40 on an awful team and you know he's going to get benched soon. Stupid Raiders.

Sorry bub not buying your bridge. Key fumble and very bone head interceptions to the LIONS secondary. He also underthrows more than a Pop Warner quarterback. If you love him that much you can have him on your Niners for the low, low price of Frank Gore. (It's not like Lane would run the ball with him so don't worry about that being a value-poor trade.)

The replays of the bears/bolts game reminds me that I warned the Bears fans the neutral zone non-call would be punished by the football gods. I didn't even think about my prophecy, but I'd say the special teams football-in-the-back was the payment the football gods were looking for.
