Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | August 2013 | Divekicks & Dragons

Now, if I live in Indonesia but I registered at US PSN, that would make my region what? Hahaha.

Because it feels silly if I pick North America since I live in a place with a 12 hours difference with the US, and if I pick Asia it doesn't feel right too since my PSN is US PSN.

I'm basing "Region" off your geographical location. It's for the sake of things like latency.

Posting pics directly from the Vita is so tedius. Where the heck is copy & paste?! Anyways, I seem to have spawned either outside or under the map in Killzone.

In celebration of beating Persona 4 Golden (the only jrpg I've beaten other than Pokemon when I was younger), I pulled the trigger on DOA5, UMvC3 and New little kings.

I'm glad DOA5+ lets you put it in noob mode. I'm having so much fun kicking everyone's ass. :D

I'm really sad P4G ended though. That game deserves all the praise it gets.

Except that stupid bathhouse scenes.

I want to punch the guy that thought of them to be included in the game.

Of course! :)

And I actually laughed at the bathhouse scenes, Banana. Sure they were stupid as hell, but Teddie and Kanji have amazing voice actors and they always made me laugh.

I romanced them all. At first I was Yukiko all the way. But Rise is just too perfect.

Valentine's day is really painful
if you romance more than one girl.

Edit- I also bromanced Yosuke. XD

I've played P4G three times now. First playthrough I romanced Rise, then Yukiko and now Chie.

Kinda weird going for Chie though since
she's obviously in love with Yukiko.

Speaking of Chie, I made a tumblr post today and this dude reblogged me and started following me. Naturally I went to his profile to return the favor and came across a picture of Chie-Chan. It was a normal picture(just concept art) but between her legs read, "I wouldn't mind spending my whole weekend with my head between Chie's legs." I don't know how to feel about this... XD

In an unrelated note, I tried looking for a match on DOA5 online but after 15minutes I gave up. :/
I thought since he game is on sale it would at least have a couple of people online.

Bend don't share a studio with someone else, in fact they're kind of separated from most of SCE's American studios as they're located in Oregon and not California. They don't have the capacity to do multiple large projects either.

If they wer making a Vita game it would probably launch early 2014 based on Golden Abyss's ship date, which means it should have been announced by now.

Announcing a game a year or so before release isn't shocking. I would not expect much from either the VGAs or TGS in regards to internal stuff. I don't believe a handheld game has ever been announced at the VGAs and SCE's Japanese studios are basically non-existent and questionable for localization given Freedom Wars.

Im rocking a 4GB card and feel sated. I just delete games when im not playing them. Ordered this straight away. Cant wait to have more than 4 bubbles on my screen :)
 
why does vita's browser have a cursor that recognizes text but as otherwise does nothing (press square)

oh and I'm a bit surprised that the walking deqd turned out alright

Ah, this remind to to do re-run of P4G. I shouldn't use schedule guide in early day of the release. Things fucked up my S.Link and such.
 
There u go... My vita was on my couch, resting there after several hours of P4G game sessions. I went downstairs to have some breakfast, and my mom decided to clean the sheets of the couch. She picked up and put everything aside on the couch except my precious vita and dropped it while shaking off the sheet, from 1st floor ( about 3.5 meters) Now i hear sounds and touchscreen works but screen does not turn on. There is a warranty but there are some huge scratches on the screen. I'm willing to pay for it but im not even sure they will be able to just change the screen (Living in Turkey)
 
I just want to do a clean run on P4G AKA no-romance this time. P4 protagonist have too much swag already.

Oh I already have you in my FL? Good to know. Yeah, maybe we can organize online sometimes. I play Dragon's Crown and NFS Most Wanted Online. Maybe some Killzone Mercenaries too later on :)

Looked over all the digital only games I'm going to buy for Vita and came to the conclusion that an upgrade from my 16gb was pretty much necessary.
Great price compared to what it used to cost.

Edit: LBP Vita is on sale on EU psn now for those who missed it on account of the mix ups yesterday. Price: cheap as hell!

lol. I don't get how I could make do with 4GB and people struggle with much higher. Is it a bandwidth cap thing so you don't want to re-download stuff?

BTW the wait time for the cards now are 2-3 weeks. Its been put on HotUKDeals so they'll be out of stock in hours.

EDIT: Already out of stock. I feel lucky.

Well done! I had no idea there were so many people playing from that "Asia" place. Will be hitting some of you up for dem fighting games.

Maybe add a 'Notes' column or something for people to share times they play at or other details (like can you use a Vita as a mic for the PS3?)

Honestly I've been perfectly fine with my 16gb card. All the games I play and even about 5gb free. With the ongoing Vita/PSP sale the free space is getting a bit too low though.
