Any chance of
Peter Parker ever coming back? I mean...he does not deserve this. Any of it.

I can't imagine Peter not coming back, especially with a movie coming, but I have no idea how. Peter's ghost was a red herring, unless it turn out he somehow survived Doc Ock's attack. Maybe there's a surviving Ockbot that has Peter's memories intact?

no way bro

Joe Quesada told everyone he was "Done with Peter Parker" after everyone hurt his feelings during One More Day.

You should've bought those issues mang

Are you kidding, no of course not.

That's like them bringing Bucky back.

Or Harry. Or his father.

Or Jason Todd. Oh wait, that's DC, see, it's silly!

Re: Forever Evil #1: Was that the rage-inducing thing that was supposed to happen to Dick? Cause I'm not enraged. Good start to the story, overall.

it's going to be a long wait until i get to read this issue....

I'm guessing Dick found out that Damian was really his son and not Bruce's. :O

I have to admit, with my DC pull list smaller than ever (Batman, Superman Unchained and Batman/Superman), this Forever Evil month will actually mark an entire month of books I won't pick up from DC. Anyone else completely skipping DC this month?

My biggest problem with Villians month is I have no idea which one-shots are going to affect the monthlies and which will not. Still, probably not going to negatively affect my pull at all for DC.

I'm going to pull Forever Evil

Flash: Will get all three, because Reverse Flash seems to be needed for the monthly and I love Grodd and the Rouges.

Batman Books: Probably just the Riddler, maybe Bane and Scarecrow if it sounds like those set-up Arkham War.

Green Lantern: Relic since it's needed. Maybe Mongul because he's not been up to much (anything?) since Sinestro jacked him and he is awesome. Possibly Sinestro.

Wonder Woman: First Born since it's probably going to be good backstory for the ongoing.

Supes: Doomsday and Zod since Pak is taking over Action in November. Might play in. Plus Pak has been killing it.

JL: Lobo, Darkseid and Secret Society. Lobo because he's Lobo, Darkseid because of Pak (and I'm sure Johns plans a big cross-over with Earth 2 soon), Secret Society because they will probably be big in Forever Evil.

So 13 for the month, maybe stretching to 18 or so if I can't help myself. My normal pull for DC is 12 books, so I guess the stunt will work on me.

Aquaman: Ocean Master and Black Manta, like both characters, been loving the monthly.

Yeah nothing like a little Bleeding Cool hyperbole! It was a good first issue, I actually like that the
fate of the Leagues is a mystery
.

The Count Vertigo book was my favorite of the Villains Month books I got this week. Amazing art by Sorrentino and a fairly dark origin story by Lemire. Great storytelling across the board.

Bleeding Cool article on how, shockingly, Bendis has completely ignored canon and continuity as far as the actual in-house official editor's policy handbook http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/09...avel-courtesy-of-battle-of-the-atom-spoilers/

Some spoilers there for some of today's Marvel comics involving time travel.

I love to hate on Bendis for his lack of concern for continuity and such, but Gruenwald has been dead for years, and Marvel's current editors aren't fans of the rules he came up with (Brevoort has said a few times on his Formspring that he feels it unfairly limits the possibilities for time travel stories). Don't pin this all on Bendis.

There is a line to get into the LCS. This is gonna be huge for DC.

I've been tempted to go get in line at my LCS and buy up some of those 3-D covers to flip them on eBay. But that would be evil, right? Isn't that kind of everything that is wrong with comics or something?

I also think it's generally a bad idea to treat 20-year-old editorial edicts as though written in stone.

No reason not to try. Most shops have been fulfilling people who had them on the pull lists first so you may be limited to how many you can buy at a time.

LCS did not pull 3d covers for pull list. First come first serve. I got all 3d covers.

That is bullshit. I mean, good on you for getting them, but as someone who has a 50+ comic pull list, being denied because I couldn't make it up at opening would make me give serious thought to canceling said pull list and going somewhere else.

That sounds like something that would piss most people off.

Especially if they were not informed before hand.

If so might be a bit different....still dickish to the regulars though.

He made everyone aware. Sent emails out. He has some software that does the pull list for everyone and since these are actually listed as Joker, Ivy, etc, in the system, they were not coming up in peoples list.

Plus, didn't Hickman's FF do the same thing anyway? (with direct causality and stuff)
Hell, I'm not sure AoA followed these rules in its resolution.

Anyway, this all seems so secondary to a good story.

The return of picture haul.

The last two pages on Infinity #2 were interesting, but most of the book was a recap/slight extension of the most recent issues of Avengers/New Avengers. Between that and the preview pages released, I felt like I had read 80% of this book before I even opened it.

bah my store got Diamonded/Dc'd for Superior Foes, Desaad, and Deadshot...maybe next week

I got 3d crap...wanted to resist... whatever
well I wanted the Ivy ;o

late list because I don't know wtf I want until I go in wednesday because of Villains month/Infinity
Battle for the Atom #1
All New X-men #16
Infinity #2
X-Factor #262
Superior Spiderman #17

Ventriloquist #1 (would have got 2d but there wasn't any)
Relic #1 2d
Darkseid #1
Grodd #1
Two Face #1
Forever Evil #1
Cyborg Superman #1 (no 2d's damn!)
Joker #1
Creeper #1 (no 2d's)
Poison Ivy #1 (it's cool, its Ivy)

I probably won't read anything besides Forever Evil, I didn't finish last week still, too much FF XIV lol

Wow, just got back from LCS and have not seen a crowd like that there since the New 52 debut! Owner reserved the 3D covers for those with lists first, but thankfully I was able to get the few I wanted (minus Poison Ivy).

Yeah, it may be a bit gimmicky, but those covers are really impressive in person. This is going to be a huge month for DC, no doubt about it.

I picked up

Batman Black and White
Forever Evil 1
Grodd
Cyborg Superman
Joker
Desaad
Darkseid
