I am of the opinion that Nintendo should have spun off the Fire Emblem series ever since Roy and Marth got recognition in the rest of the world. So much potential.

So, hopefully we get to see that new stage tonight! I'm really curious to know how it looks, it could possibly be my most favorite stage.

I think Sakurai's Miiverse comment about her animations not being completely done may be at least in part a reference to this screen. I'm pretty sure she grabs her dress when she does this move in Brawl, and it looks like she's intended to in this screen but the dress isn't in her hand.
Good eye! The way her arm is oriented it does look like she should be holding her dress.

I just don't want another third party character. Especially not one with a niche fanbase. Sonic would be the better Sega rep by a long shot, in my opinion.

EDIT: Nevermind, watched it again and it doesn't look very similar. It's mostly white with yellow letters, a red outline and some hearts.

Third party characters should be special and iconic -- precious in that there are so few of them. Bayonetta certainly doesn't belong in the same sentence as Sonic, Snake, and Mega Man. Her gender is irrelevant, you can just about use the "moveset potential" excuse for anybody, and there's a difference between a large fanbase and a vocal one.
If Bayonetta 2 does well enough to warrant a Bayonetta 3, which leads to a Bayonetta 4, 5, and 6, then yeah, she might eventually be worth adding into the series, but it's way too early right now.

We might not. Who knows. Stage is still a Punch Out stage though xD I know a few people try to refute it but...it's a given. If you've played Punch Out Wii, you're well aware of the different circuits that you can fight in with that same exact logo design. Smash Circuit is just a "new" boxing tournament stage, just like the other circuits in Punch Out.

At this point, I'm getting a little anxious about Zelda. I'm not worried about her not coming back again as a returning veteran, but I'm really hoping they don't change her design to Skyward Sword Zelda for Smash 4. Not that I don't like that design (I do), but she's not really a fighter and I feel she wouldn't necessarily fight like Twilight Princess Zelda does in Melee and especially Brawl. Zelda was my second main in Brawl, so I'm hoping she makes it over to Smash 4 relatively unchanged. On the other hand, I don't really care what they do to Sheik or if that transformation even comes back, as long as they don't make her ridiculously OP like she was in Melee.
Of course, they're still using Twilight Princess Link (more or less) for Smash 4, so maybe I'm anxious over nothing!
Beyond that, the characters I'd like to see most at this point are Palutena, Krystal, Shulk, and especially Sonic. Now that Mega Man's here, having the ultimate triumvirate of old-school platformer heroes fighting each other in the same game would be just too. Damn. Awesome. Sonic HAS to return.

Really though, I agree with a comment a page or two back. The art direction in this game is spot on. They're hitting the tones, contrasts, and moods where it counts and I can only imagine how good the sound design will be along with it.
