I'd say level both and choose which one you like playing better. Some do prefer PLD over WAR at end game based on stun time and some of the dmg mitigation skills, but I've seen some WARs that could out-tank a PLD and tend to MT anyway during some fights while PLDs are on stun duty.

I tank PLD and WAR as a Taru (one of the lalafell guys) and sure I'd like the +5VIT a Sea Wolf has on me, but yeah it's no big deal.
WAR is pretty situational - I've MT'd a lot of things but having such a poor GCD on my stun really blows. I like tanking the bigger stuff as my PLD with the mitigation and superior stun; however, I do enjoy speed running CM/AK as my WAR.

If there were more names like Assdrilling Terminator and less like Rkjeda Mwadijiwa I'd be a happier person.

I know it has been said many times but wow what a garbage setup for the account website. Seeing as how I'm a 1.0 user my gametime is ending well,. tomorrow. It said I had 1 day left. So I go ahead and sub for 90 days. It doesn't let me know if its going to bill monthly or all 90 days up front... also it doesn't even let me know after I pick a mastercard to sub, just how many days I have left until my sub is up, or when I'm getting billed. If I didn't happen to notice I only had 1 day left and I subbed with my card, I basically would have no idea. Maybe I'm missing something but this is pretty lame.

Particularly frustrating since I was the last one standing in all but like two of my attempts, but DF parties have zero resilience. First sign of difficulty and people quit.
On the upshot I have lots of experience with every stage of the fight till the final one I guess D:

Thats both awesome and kind of lame at the same time. Why make it such big deal, then leave it solely with solo content I wonder.

I think I have over 40 on my blacklist now. I am averaging at least three a day. They are spamming like no tomorrow on Leviathan.

It charges you a lump sum for the entire time subscribed. Veteran rewards will be given out for time paid for upfront; you don't have to actually wait out the 30-90 days.

Also another thing I noticed about the mogstation is it likes to forget how many characters you have, sometimes forgetting you have any at all listing (0) I won't lie that kind of scared me when I seen that. Made me rush to log-in to see if something went wrong.

Yeeesh, I almost feel like blocking tells now.
Square is not banning accounts fast enough. I reported some that are still sending me tells almost a week later. Also there clearly needs to be a limit on public messages; some of these people are copy/pasting the same thing to chat 50-100 times per minute.

Finally unlocked Brayflox! Got two other GAF'ers in queue with me ready to do a few runs to complete armor sets from this dungeon. Anyone else want to join? Looking for a tank.
At least, blacklisting tell spammers is fairly simple with "/blist add <r>". I feel bad when I see it's a name from a probably-hacked account and not a random name created by the gil sellers. Poor people who get their accounts hacked.

I'm not sure why you think I'd think you'd be casting low tier ice unless you needed, like, bind from bliz 2 or something
I've mostly been playing MNK/PLD/WHM since launch and still need to try some more BLM. I did some CM/Hydra/Garuda on BLM this weekend trying the flare/transpose method when it seemed appropriate and the damage seemed good and I was casting about as constantly as I could considering interruptions from aoes/movement/etc. but I wasn't parsing. Just got my Van on Saturday and saw a nice jump in damage so I'll be trying some things out with that including not using flare-transpose as a default single target rotation spell.

I envy you, I can't wait until I unlock it. I need my Battlemage armor, even if it will be long outdated for me.
Despite being leveled well past it, I'm probably going to keep going back to Brayflox for practice and lols. It's a shame they don't have a HM version of the dungeon that doesn't require you to down level though. Practicing higher level skills is hard, when you don't have access to them.

Go to AK for gear and ifrit hard. Both can be done with gear not obtained in endgame. AK has some nice upgrades.
Is, there a way to mass-add users from a list? I mean you could do it one at a time, manually, and that'd help, but, most players won't do it manually.
The difference between the best and worst is about 5 points per stat. If you want to be a Lala Paladin, by all means, knock yourself out.

Demon wall can get rough in AK if you're inexperienced.. However it's not as big a gear check as people think... If you think you're not doing enough... You can try for item Lv55 gear in wanderer's palace... Doesn't net as many tomestones but at least a certain amount can be speedran.. It also drops ifrit weapon comparable darklight weapons, which from my experience, should suffice til garuda.

I did it fine in AF and lvl 45 to 50 stuff.
It'd be nice if they at least added some Mythology Tomestones to Wanderer's Palace to mix it up a little bit for people at 50.

It's a shame that the most lucrative non-FATE methods of attaining seals or xp are only as good as doing FATES. The GC Hunting Log gives decent seals, but it also requires a time investment and is finite and those same "decent seals" can be gotten from FATEs much more quickly.
I do like the game, but it's dismaying to feel like the system is pushing me into FATEs at every turn.

As someone pointed out, AK and Ifrit will do you fine. You're about where you should be.
AK is designed for fresh-ish 50s, despite what most people think, so you can run it easily, especially because you have a i55 weapon.

They should do what other MMOs are doing and make hard modes of all previous dungeons with extra Tomes given for instance-finder completions because the dungeons in this game are great and worth going back.
Imagine doing Tam Tam again, but there are soul collectors all over the place and the sub-bosses and main boss have newer, deadlier mechanics. I would love this so much
I don't have any expectations, but, I'd love it if they released "Hard Mode," versions of the earlier dungeuns, for people at the End Game. I mean, just simply raising the level of the Mobs/bosses, and adding better loot, would do it. It'd give people at the end-game, uninterested in leveling up another class, something else to do until they got around to adding new quests, dungeons, etc.
