So they'll probably discuss/mention the new firmware update. I now hope they say, "we plan to map wiimote/nunchuck/classic controls to gamepad at a later time, please be excited!" :)

That being said, only 5 hours to go! I love update day, and it's even more exciting when you get a Nintendo Direct on the same day. I wonder if we'll also get a buy2-get1 for free promotion, like they have in Japan.

Anyway, I'm sure we're gonna get a promotion of some sort, at least in Europe.

Games involved: Pokémon X/Y, Layton, Zelda, Scribblenauts, Bravely Default, Inazuma Eleven 3. Buy three of them, get one for free.
 
Nintendo has announced a simultaneous worldwide Nintendo Direct presentation for October 1st. It will cover Wii U and 3DS games coming this year.

NOA has announced a presentation for October 1st at 10 am Eastern, 7 am Pacific. It will run for about 30 minutes.

NCL has announced a presentation for October 1st at 11 pm Japan Time. It will run simultaneously with the American presentation, and last about 33 minutes.

I was going to say that they'd never add a high-seller like Pokémon but then I remembered Animal Crossing.

Still, I'd like another NoE promotion.

it won't happen as I actually want 3 of those games so no freebie for me. Either that or it is for Wii U instead.

I can also see them doing the invite code thing again on Zelda...but the twist is now a 2DS registered rather than a 3DS XL...

its pretty certain you wont see any wii u watchdogs gameplay, it fairly clear sony has a deal for only their console's footage to be shown
