It might grow on you, who knows. That's happened to me and many Pokemon designs. But I still remember the crazy backlash over the final evolutions of the Unova starters...ESPECIALLY Samurott.

This is just a bigger Braixen. The actual evolution looks much better.
 
This will probably be the first time in any Pokemon game where I won't be choosing a fire starter. Not because of Fennekin's evolutions but rather the inclusion of getting a Kanto starter the first few hours of the game. I'm getting Charmander and it wouldn't make sense to have another Fire pokemon on my team. With that said, I'll probably pick Froakie.

People playing Megamon X: "We Got Best Charizard and MegaBlaziken Exists" edition.

Delphox will live or die based entirely on how fast and how brolic a special sweeper it can be for me.
 
Where did Delphox come from? With so many fakes floating around why are we assuming this is real?

I think the lack of the stick from Braixen makes it seem like an obvious fake. They wouldn't drop that aesthetic when it is introduced in the 2nd evo.

Can't wait to see the Sugimori art for Delphox, hopefully that will show it's design off better than the model. :)

I'm kind of disappointed it doesn't have a fancy hat, but I like it all the same!
 
So the Chespin guy had Froakie in his Dex but not Fennekin, right? Does that mean your rival picks the type weak to your type (but eventually equal due to Dark/Psychic/Fighting)? Which could mean the Delphox leaker will encounter Chespin 3.0 soon.

Maybe. I actually was also very disappointed by 5th gen's finals however Samurott was the surprise one I liked. I was all for Snivy and Tepig until I saw their awful evo's and they never grew on me. :P

I also kind of prefer the starters being gender neutral.
 
For those claiming Greninja can't be real because it learns Extrasensory and would therefore be Water/Psychic: Plenty of Pokemon learn moves outside their type.

Some of the other Pokemon that learn Extrasensory are...
  • Nuzleaf, a Grass/Dark type, who was also originally the only Pokemon able to learn it
  • Hoothoot, a Normal/Flying type
  • Vulpix, a pure Fire type
  • The three legendary beasts, which are Fire, Electric, and Water types respectively
  • Tornadus, a pure Flying type

Hell, fellow amphibian Poliwrath can learn Hypnosis. Damn, Poliwrath must be a Psychic type!
 
Actually the tufts on the crotch area looks good in a closer view. It's supposed to be the rum of the waist.
