With this thread being about trading, I figured this would be the best place to put this.

I've been fighting the urge, but I really want to restart my game. With no challenge/hard mode in sight, and how I rushed through, I want to go again with a clean slate, but I want to keep some of my Pokemon for their mega stones and their evolutions, and need someone to hold on to them for a few hours or more while I restart the game, then trade them back over once I catch enough basic wild Pokemon.

The Pokemon I want to keep for my new save include my Gardevoir (for breeding and mega stone), Charizard (for Y mega stone), Zoroark, Lucario, Flitwick, Fenekkin, Chespin and Ditto (all for breeding).

Pretty much any and everything else from my game will be up for grabs to whoever helps me out. That can include Mewtwo with MewtwoniteY, Yveltal, a Master Ball or the like. I can even try and get some Y exclusive mega stones, like Houndoomite (would really appreciate Tyranitarite in exchange, but not necessary =x).

I partly wanted to wait until the Pokemon Bank was out so I could take everything, but I just can't. =|

A random request regarding GTS (I felt it was better here than the main thread). Concerning trade w/hold item Pokemon.

The GTS etiquette seems to be offering the Pokemon w/Hold item in exchange for its evolved form (e.g. Spitzee w/Sachet for Aromatisse). There are a quite a number of these already on GTS and some go back several pages. I'm sure the players would appreciate if these could be cleared out (if I ever get an Aromatisse I'll do my bit).

Not sure if you're aware, but hold items can't be stored in Pokemon bank (at least according to the pre-release FAQ) so you would still have to give things away.

Yep. Put an everstone on the brave Ditto and breed it with a Honedge, and you should get a Brave Honedge.
