Buy both that way you can have your cake and eat it to.
That's what the wife and I are doing. PS4 at launch, 180 when Kinect Sports Rivals launches. Thankfully she's like me and shudders at the thought of not having every console

Yes dude. It's a pretty big damn difference. Especially on larger TVs.
Anyway MS will throw truckloads of money to gaming sites so they'll say both versions look the same. Why 30 pages?![]()
Have you seen this thread?

Serious question though: What's more important for sales: 1080p or having the DLC first? I'm going to say DLC first is WAY more important.

@yosp Each day is more evident that PS4 is the REAL Next gen console, 1 month more... Just 1 month... HELL, WANT IT NOW D: xD

Oh, I'm not commenting on the news itself at all. And this isn't any sort of warning. I'm just throwing out a different take to get on the record that banderas.gif isn't beloved by all. Any enjoyment I derived from it died a while back once I saw its 500th variant.
But don't mind me. Carry on.
With this game you can get 1080p and 60fps for $100 less.
Senjustu, post if you are okay.
GUYS THIS IS A JOKE NOT REAL.
He's mimicking some marine guy's post, it's a pretty famous post

Honestly if someone doesnt understand the difference between 720p and 1080p, why the f*ck would they buy an xbox one OR a ps4 to play call of duty when its coming out on 360. The people in the market for a new system this holiday season definitely know the difference.
After seeing the PC minimum requirements, this news doesn't surprise me at all.
Dunno what's going on at Infinity Ward.
The OS was apparently crashing on them when they pushed it. The inferior RAM solution probably has something to do with that, I would guess.
Crunchyroll been stuttering for over an hour. My spidey sense said to check GAF to see if it broke the Internet, again.
I guess it was a Xbox 720 all along!
If this gets confirmed it going to crashGAFInternet for 2 days.
Microsoft must feel like they are playing a never ending game of Whack a Mole. Every time they try to knock one down, two or three more pop up. Hell, I was warming up to their exclusives lately as well, but no way am I paying $500 for this system. Too much bad mojo.
Ooooh, so this is why they didn't go with the Xbox 720p
There was a whole other meltdown thread on it yesterday!![]()
So my XBO will be a great cable box and media box, and my PS4 will be my game console?
Sounds right based on this.
(I am still a bit excited for the XBO just for the media stuff, is that bad?)

Wow, this rumor has blown up on this forum. It is a sight to behold.
Wish I had a gif to post.
"Nothing stops this train!"

One week earlier DLC compared to 6 years of an underpowered system?Serious question though: What's more important for sales: 1080p or having the DLC first? I'm going to say DLC first is WAY more important.
Hindle... Oh God... I hope he hasn't done anything rash.I hope we get confirmation on this soon.
Until then, every piece of news on resolution makes me think of Clay Davis.

Navy SEALs, actually.
Shouldn't we all wait for more info before blowing this out of proportion?
That is gold. GOLD!I guess it was a Xbox 720 all along!
Who is this guy and why should we care? Semi-internet-famous Xbox fanboy or something?Ok, I see I underestimated this revelation...it is officially megaton.
because people understand old vs new. there are tons of regular folk who will get excited for the "new" xbox and want that "new" xbox because the xbox they have is "old".
they're not going to care too much about 1080p vs 720p. there were people buying ps360's who didn't even connect an hd cable to it.... they don't see the big difference unless you point it out to them.
Not even close, Adam Oarth thread was moving at 6 pages per refresh...it reached 20K posts in under an hour !
A lot of people would. Why do we have to start questioning HD when Microsoft's console can't do it? *possibly* Bluray is out, HD content is out, people enjoy HD material. And for gaming nerds, well its not as if PC's are running Crysis on MAX at 320i because 'well resolution is hard to see anyway!" Its a lame excuse. Its 2013, we are heading into a new generation of gaming. And other devices can run the engine at 1080p. (in the world the rumor is true). Casual's opinions stop at the door when I type in neogaf.com, ya know? Sure, people can have a myriad of responses to this, and maybe, just maybe, someone didn't notice. It still doesn't change the fact of this possible rumor!(lol) And what it means for the hardware specifically, since its already been thrown under the bus as being hampered in the power department.
Its not just resolution, and resolution alone, its the narrative. If 1080p doesn't matter, and 900p/720p is what casuals were dying for, Sony and MS.. er.. Sony wouldn't bother trying to hit the Entertainment Standards of Film/PCgaming/etc. Hell, no one would invest in it. Its just such a strange knee-jerk reaction to do, condemning others for possibly not even noticing the gimp. I kinda blame the guy that brought the gimp.
Yes. Easily
...and maybe you are wearing glasses smeared with vaseline....
In motion can be worse sometimes for things like fences or power lines... There's definitely a difference, but I think people overstate it sometimes.
I agree with you here, but I think the reason this is blowing up is that it's indicative of future problems as we get deeper into next gen. If we're seeing these problems creep up at launch, for a game that no one really expects to be a technological wonder, what's going to happen a year or two down the line when these systems really have their limits tested?
We saw this at the tail of this generation. Alot of games on the 360 just couldn't keep up and internally a good number of studios started switching to PS3 as their lead platform. If this rumor holds true, and its indicative of a more measurable power discrepancy between the two platforms, the Xbox One could find itself running out steam really quickly.
Wow, this is the stupidest rumor I've ever heard.
Simply ridiculous!
