Well, one of creator got a job (Which is AbyssWolf) so he have to dropped the project, I think.
It disappointed me that he wasn't in Brawl. The intro just didn't feel the same without the announcer shouting the name of the game after the intro hyping you up.

At first glance, this sounds like an absolutely terrible idea.
But on the flipside, this would mean Freedom Planet characters would be fair game. And I wouldn't mind me a Milla avatar...
Regardless, I don't see you doing this. I mean, it probably wouldn't be hard (take my current avatar, change the palette, tada Sonic fan character), but still!
The first time a booted up Brawl, I hadn't seen the intro yet. The music and images were blowing my young mind. I was waiting for all the epicness to build to the title. But then... nothing. So disappointed.

When I was planning on registering for my first message board (Sonic HQ on ezBoard), I was going to go with "Shadowwing". He was Shadow... with green stripes! I know we joke about fan characters just being the official designs with different colors, but I was seriously about to go through with it.
For those interested this is my own old sonic fan character.

Alas, "Shadowwing" was taken. So I went with "Shadow Hog" instead after a night of brainstorming; he was going to be Dr. Wily's attempt at adapting his old Robot Masters to be based on animals instead of humans. So, basically, it was Shadow Man from Mega Man 3, adapted onto Shadow the Hedgehog's body. (Yes, Shadow again. To be fair, this was 2002; Heroes hadn't happened yet, so Shadow was a relatively decent one-and-done character.)
I ended up using neither of them, in the end. We're all better off, I promise. I stuck with the name, though; I've been using it since 2002/2003, and I like consistency.

Anyway for Meteor Smash,
I always enjoying to land Captain Falcon's aerial down attack, and it's same for Ganondorf. I actually enjoyed many characters' meteor smash since some of them are harder to pull it off.
