Honestly, I was thinking the various other islands floating around in Eryth Sea. Leave Alcamoth in the background, both to be highly imposing and to be scenery porn.

Eryth Sea does seem like the most ideal location (of the ones I've seen so far, which is only up to

Gaur Plains would probably be more ideal, due to the amazing view that valley has, but I'm concerned that it doesn't lend itself well to a Smash stage layout - no real floating platforms to speak of. I suppose you could try to do something with the weird outcropping near where those turtles spawn (due east of that monolith landmark), but it'd be kinda weird; you'd have to make the playing field intersect the hole in it, but said gap would still close up in the foreground and background.

I can confirm afoni's leak that there maybe might be a chance of there being a Nintendo Direct within the next 3 months maybe kinda sorta possibly.

I can also confirm that there will maybe be more playable characters, and, shockingly, there will be different modes of play.

Also I saw the Naruto reveal and it's crazy good.
