Huh? Has a character linked to something outside their own series? From the site it looks like there are some characters that point to nothing. I'd assume that's what RETRO characters would point to.
 
Wow, really liking the new design of Marth. Such an improvement over the Brawl look.

Also, the Miiverse caption was "Pic of the day. Marth joins the battle!! Once again, everyone will be overwhelmed by his magnificent sword skills!!"

I'd claimed it but I'll pass over my rightful inheritance, I'm too much of a lurker to make full use of the awesome and I fear it will go to waste.
 
Surprised Mii still hasn't be reserved. Maybe I should do that so I'm actually listed for something likely rather than just jokes. Though I suppose it would be going to far to ask for it to be based on My NNID Mii.
 
Now that Marth is in, my interest for the game has finally returned.

Hopefully we get to see more of the engine for the game and how it operates soon.

Like what? We have been getting few balance notes from daily images so that is good way to start with.

Other than that, I'm hoping to see Developer Direct 2 after they announced a batch of newcomers.
 
Hey Marth... first character announced that I really kind of like! I did't play Marth too much in the past (especially Brawl), but I always give him a shot at that coveted main spot each game! His character model looks great.
 
I realize why Awakening characters don't have feet. Their shoes and boots are horrible to look at. It's like they thought wearing footwear after chopping it in half was a good idea.

I'm mostly shocked because he revealed Marth and not Lucina. :/
 
Honestly, I don't know much about the FE franchise. Barely touched it. However, Marth is a mainstay. "Replacing" him at this point would be like putting in Daisy instead of Peach.

We like Daisy, but not enough to take Peach's place.
 
I guess they're appeasing fans by releasing the obvious choices first. Thats cool but the game needs a character from Awakening. It's a lost opportunity otherwise.
 
Keepin the dream alive for Lucina! FE:A paired units would be one of the best/most surprising newcomers Sakurai could reveal.
